BioVentures, LLC has been selected as an awardee of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2025 Growth Accelerator Fund Competition (GAFC). The GAFC program supports organizations working to advance science and technology-based entrepreneurship across the United States. Awardees receive $75,000 to implement initiatives that address challenges in their regional innovation ecosystems. BioVentures received an award within the Lab-to-Market theme area. The project will allow BioVentures to serve as the nexus between UAMS, the greater Arkansas health entrepreneurship community and the biotechnology market. BioVentures will offer cohesive, targeted healthcare entrepreneurial programming and outreach to innovators, enhance mentorship networks and connect with national biotechnology leaders. Participating entrepreneurs will receive focused support with development of new health technologies as they progress toward validation, licensing, and commercialization.
