Had a great time visiting the Geomet Metal Recycling plant in Garland, Texas. Great organization located in a verified HubZone working to strengthen our supply chain, support American manufacturing, and create opportunities for small businesses. Always inspiring to see innovation and hard work happening right here in our communities. ♻️🇺🇸

Today, SBA is announcing a new 90% Grocery Guarantee on loans for small businesses in the agriculture & logistics industries. By supporting job creators across the food supply chain, POTUS is INCREASING domestic food production and CUTTING grocery costs for American families.

Last week, I had the opportunity to visit Smart Repro based out of Jonesboro, Arkansas—an innovative small business doing extraordinary work in agricultural genetics. Smart Repro is focused on developing some of the highest-quality genetic goats and sheep found anywhere in the world. Their mission is rooted in production—creating superior breeds that not only help feed America but also contribute to addressing food needs across the globe. What stood out most to me was this: this is exactly the kind of small business that drives innovation in America. They are solving real-world problems, strengthening our agricultural supply chain, and doing it with precision, expertise, and vision. As I continue my work in advocacy, it’s businesses like Smart Repro that remind me why supporting small businesses matters. They are not just part of our economy—they are essential to our nation’s strength and to feeding a growing world. It was an honor to tour their facility and witness firsthand the incredible impact a single small business can have.

Regional Administrator Justin Crossie joined the SBA Arkansas District Office on Wednesday to engage directly with lending partners during a local lender roundtable. With 13 lenders and resource partners at the table, discussions provided an opportunity to exchange insights, strengthen relationships, and continue building a responsive lending network for small businesses. Bringing lenders together alongside SBA helps reinforce a strong connected lending community, ensuring small businesses have greater access to the capital they need to start and grow. #SmallBusiness #AccessToCapital #Partnership
