Our client based in Cincinnati, OH, is currently seeking a dedicated Grocery Manager to join their team on a direct hire basis.

Role Overview:
- Lead and manage the grocery department, ensuring its overall success through effective team leadership, strategic merchandising, maintaining store conditions, and delivering outstanding customer service
- Responsible for overseeing daily store operations, optimizing product flow, and enhancing the customer shopping experience
- Create and implement merchandising strategies to enhance product displays and attract customers
- Engage with customers and team members on the sales floor, addressing inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on product placement strategies and store appearance
Requirements:
- High school Diploma or GED with a minimum of five years of related experience, or a suitable combination of relevant experience and education
- Prior experience in order writing, procurement, or supply chain management preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience in retail, ideally within the specialty foods sector
- Proven track record in grocery management or similar retail leadership positions
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Power BI desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities and mathematical aptitude
- Effective vendor management skills
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and evenings
