We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations in support of our company's growth and process optimization efforts. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial records and collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and achieve long-term business goals.

Your Responsibilities as an Accounting Manager will include:

  • Managing daily general ledger activities and maintaining precise financial records
  • Preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
  • Reconciling bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions
  • Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Coordinating month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Conducting variance analyses and presenting reports to senior management
  • Monitoring cash flow and generating weekly cash reports
  • Assisting with AP/AR operations to ensure timely payment processing and collections
  • Leading ad-hoc reporting and time-sensitive analysis for executives
  • Identifying and implementing process enhancements with a focus on automation and scalability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to document and refine accounting procedures
  • Supporting basic insurance and risk management functions, with training provided

Requirements for the Accounting Manager Position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience (real estate or property management background preferred)
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting operations
  • Advanced skills in Excel; familiarity with accounting systems (experience with Yardi is a plus)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
  • Interest in acquiring knowledge of insurance and risk functions to support company initiatives
