Flutter Dev reposted this
There aren’t many chances to sit down directly with the Flutter Dev team and talk about the future of Flutter - especially through the lens of large-scale apps. We want to change that at the Flutter Tech Summit. 🎤 Michael S Thomsen, Group Product Manager for Dart & Flutter at Google, is joining us for a Fireside Chat: The Future of Flutter + AMA Session. The stage co-host: Łukasz Kosman, CEO at LeanCode. 🌟 A fireside chat means a real, candid conversation. Think of it as a behind-the-scenes discussion and a chance to get a closer look at what’s actually coming next for Flutter in enterprise environments. The best part? 💬 You get to ask your questions during the AMA. Bring your challenges, doubts, and ideas - we’re opening the floor. Seats are limited, and this is one of those sessions you don’t want to miss. 👉 https://lnkd.in/d9XNptDV #FlutterTechSummit #FlutterDev #AppDevelopment #Google #FlutterDevelopment

Congrats on merging your first PR! 🥳
🎉 Exciting milestone — my first open source contribution has been merged into the Flutter framework! My PR focused on enhancing the iOS provisioning error messages in Flutter, making it clearer and more helpful for developers when they encounter provisioning issues during iOS builds. A huge thank you to my reviewers Elijah Okoroh, Louise Hsu and Huan Lin for their guidance, patience, and thorough feedback throughout the process. Your support made this contribution possible. 🙏 If you've ever thought about contributing to Flutter or any open source project — just start. The community is welcoming, the learning curve is worth it. That's right! You can use Dart for both your frontend and backend with the preview of Dart support for Cloud Functions. Also new: deeper integrations with Firebase using the Dart Admin SDK to reduce context switching and improve development velocity 🔥
🆕 Cloud Functions and Admin SDK for Firebase now supports Dart as an experimental feature. This means Flutter developers can use the same programming language throughout their whole stack and share logic between the frontend and backend. There's so much innovation brewing at #GoogleCloudNext. Our favorite? The AI-powered Flutter Coffee Shop, GenLatte! ☕ Attendees ordered via a GenUI Flutter app, and then watched as baristas printed custom nanobanana-generated images on the foam.
