HR advocates play a critical role in advancing SHRM’s efforts to enhance the visibility of the HR profession among policymakers, both in their districts and in Washington, D.C.
Since January 2016: Serving as team captain for California's 45th Congressional District, working with Advocacy team members to build relationships with federal legislators and advise on legislation that impacts employers and the Human Resources profession. -

Revana Digital Office Olympics - Employee Engagement Initiative
Planned and implemented a 17-day office culture event, Office Olympics to increase employee engagement, emphasize health & wellness, and use as part of a broader employer branding strategy. Events included Opening Ceremonies, Olympic torch relay and daily events ranging from Ping Pong to Swivel Chair Rowing and Speedwalking. Program drew near 50% engagement and improved morale during a period of high attrition and challenges with integration to parent organization.
