The FBI has released three PSAs on The Com, short for The Community, which is an English-speaking, international, online ecosystem whose members engage in a variety of criminal violations. The FBI estimates there are thousands of Com members who interact in multiple interconnected networks—many of whom are minors. Their criminal activity includes various types of cyber crimes, swatting, extortion and sextortion of minors, violent crimes, and production and distribution of CSAM.
