At AlloDirect, Inc., we believe the principles CMS is reinforcing – transparency, data integrity, and aligned agreements between OPOs, tissue banks, and care sites – are exactly what’s needed downstream in how tissue is priced, allocated, ordered, and used in surgery. We just submitted our first AATB abstract sharing six‑month pilot data from a direct digital procurement model connecting ASCs in real time to multiple AATB‑certified tissue banks. The platform aggregates 24,000+ SKUs into a single catalog with live inventory visibility and automates AATB‑compliant lot traceability, UDI capture, and recall‑readiness documentation at the point of order. Early results show this AI‑enabled biologics marketplace is on pace to save about $180,000 annually per ASC, cut order confirmation times from ~72 hours to under 15 minutes, and consolidate fragmented vendor relationships into a single digital channel while preserving surgeon preference coverage. As CMS tightens oversight of OPOs and donor hospitals through 2027, we’re working with tissue banks, OPOs, and ASCs to bring that same rigor to the "last mile" of tissue utilization – reducing expired grafts, strengthening traceability, and giving OPO‑ and AATB‑accredited partners real‑time visibility into how donated tissue reaches patients. About us
Each year, 10,000 donors and their families make the profound choice to give the gift of healing through tissue donation. Yet systemic inefficiencies (over-ordering, poor visibility, and fragmented distribution) waste $287 million in donated allografts annually. AlloDirect was founded to change this. We’re building the intelligent platform that ensures every donated tissue reaches the right surgeon, for the right patient, at the right time. Through real-time inventory visibility, AI-powered demand forecasting, and seamless logistics, we’re driving graft utilization toward 100%. This isn’t just supply chain optimization. This is keeping the promise made to every donor family: that their gift will heal.

🚨 Healthcare supply chain attacks surged 55% in 2025. This week, Stryker became the latest victim. A cyberattack wiped Stryker’s global systems. CISA is investigating. Supply chains disrupted worldwide. The culprit? A massive, centralized enterprise environment with too many attack vectors, and too much sensitive data in one place. AlloDirect, Inc. was built lean on purpose. From day one, we made a deliberate design decision: we don’t touch PHI. We never store it. We don’t need it. Biologics procurement doesn’t require patient data, so we don’t ask for it. No API integrations pulling from your EHR. No bloated middleware sitting between you and your tissue bank. No rep-layer data exposure. Just direct connections, role-based authentication, and a minimal data footprint by design. In a world where supply chain attacks are the #1 healthcare cybersecurity threat in 2026, a smaller footprint isn’t a weakness - it’s a feature. Resilience by design. Procurement in seconds. No PHI needed. Becker's Healthcare ASC Review just highlighted “5 things to know about ASCs, supply chains,” and two themes stand out for every administrator and ASC leader: rising supply costs and the growing role of technology. What we’re hearing from ASC leaders matches the article: - Tariffs, recalls, and more complex procedures are putting sustained pressure on margins. - Case-level cost visibility and inventory tech are becoming essential to control spend. - Data-driven supply planning and vendor alignment are now central to financial sustainability. This is exactly why we built AlloDirect, Inc. We give ASCs real-time visibility into biologic and graft spend, automate case-level cost insights, and help standardize tissue and biologic choices without sacrificing surgeon preference; so supply chain becomes a lever for margin, not a source of uncertainty. How many Becker's Healthcare articles do we need to read before anything actually changes? Week after week, it’s the same story across the country. “We’re working harder, but our margins keep getting thinner.” Labor, anesthesia, and supply costs keep climbing while reimbursement barely moves. The crisis continues and yet nearly every product vertical in this space is still running through the exact same legacy supply chain model. Redundant layers. Hidden spreads. Unnecessary middlemen. So why are we still following them? Why is a rep you haven’t seen in two years (if you even know who they are) making commission on your surgical products? Why is a 3rd party controlling what sits on your shelf or in your freezers? These questions are what led to AlloDirect, Inc. - the biologic GPO built for ASCs. Simply by routing biologic purchases through our software platform, facilities start saving overnight - no product switching, no formulary battles. Same product, 5% cost reduction guarantee, seamless democratized ordering and a compliance dashboard. It sounds too good to be true because the current system is that broken. Preserve surgeon preferences, consolidate your vendors, automate compliance and equip your operators to WIN. A new study published in Becker's Healthcare is putting consolidated ASC pricing dynamics back in the spotlight - finding that consolidation and vertical integration are reshaping how prices flow through the system. Regardless of ownership model, the implications are the same: ASC leaders need better visibility into what they're paying, what they're charging, and where the gaps are. Whether you're an independent ASC, part of a health system, or operating within a national platform - the ability to see, benchmark, and manage implant and biologic spend at a granular level has never been more critical. At AlloDirect, we partner with ASCs across the spectrum to deliver: ✅ Real-time visibility across vendors and facilities ✅ Benchmarking tools that support smarter negotiations with payers and suppliers ✅ A platform built to drive value for every stakeholder... Patients, Administrators, and Surgeons Consolidation isn't slowing down. The organizations that invest in pricing transparency and supply chain intelligence will be best positioned - no matter their ownership structure. The pressure is on for ASCs: higher-acuity cases, anesthesia costs up, labor shortages and implant costs consuming 40-50% of procedural spend. Vizient, Inc just released new guidance on how supply standardization is becoming the most sustainable path forward for ASC cost management: https://lnkd.in/g6wRaCFc The challenge? With over 6,000 Medicare-certified ASCs, 60% physician-owned, variation in implant technology, supplier mix, and purchasing habits is driving cost differences that don’t translate to better outcomes. At AlloDirect, this is exactly what we built our platform to solve: ✅ Real-time visibility into implant pricing across vendors and facilities ✅ Structured standardization that respects surgeon preference and clinical judgment ✅ Data that creates alignment between clinical and administrative teams As ASCs take on more complex orthopedic and spine procedures, the ability to manage implant spend at a granular level isn’t optional, it’s foundational to maintaining quality without eroding margins.
