OcuCell Secures Strategic Funding from Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank to Advance Corneal Cell Therapy OcuCell is proud to announce a strategic investment from Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank (SDSEB), a leader in eye tissue recovery and transplantation. Founded in 1975, Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank recovers over 1200 eye donors annually and facilitates more than 1500 corneal transplants each year. This partnership will accelerate the development of OcuCell’s groundbreaking Endo-Tek™ and Epi-Tek™ therapies, which are designed to transform the treatment of corneal disease. As part of the collaboration, Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank CEO Sam Ramos, a respected leader in eye & tissue banking, will join the OcuCell Board of Directors in an observer role.
