🚀 A Major EP Milestone at Surgery Center of Central Florida 🫀 We’re proud to announce that Surgery Center of Central Florida successfully performed our first Boston FARAPULSE™ Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) case — expanding advanced atrial fibrillation treatment options in the ASC setting. This case also marks an important operational advancement for our center with the adoption of general anesthesia for EP procedures, allowing for enhanced patient comfort, procedural precision, and optimal workflow for complex ablations. In addition, we incorporated intra-procedural TEE imaging utilizing GE equipment, further elevating our imaging capabilities and ensuring high-level procedural guidance and patient safety. Vascular access was closed using the VASCADE® vascular closure system, supporting efficient hemostasis and streamlined post-procedure recovery. This milestone reflects the strength of our physicians, anesthesia partners, nursing team, and tech staff — all aligned in bringing hospital-level electrophysiology innovation into the ASC environment.
