A recycled 10 VII for this price? I dont know what Sony is smoking but it must be really good.
No seriously its just madness in this market with this competition. A CPU that gets beaten by flagships from 6 years ago is not the way to go, I can get a 1 year old s25 with the 8 elite for less money. They didnt even bother to upgrade the abysmal ultrawide from the predecessor. With this strategy Sony will join LG. It makes me sad was a hardcore fanboy once.

I have a feeling Sony don’t even really want to make the 10 anymore and just want to be a single phone brand with the flagship 1 (if you don’t count the Japan only Ace). They already discontinued the 5 so this might be the last 10. It’s the cheapest looking back I’ve seen on a phone. Even $150 phones try to look more premium even if it’s plastic, and they have SD slots and headphone jacks as well!

Are you sure about that ? By your own tests Xperia 10 IV had oustanding, almost class-leadig battery life. 10 III and 10 V also had great battery life, especially for their time of release

It’s embarrassing.
Many of us grew up with Sony and its innovations and trends (Watchman, Discman, Walkman). I fondly remember my Sony Ericsson W800 and K790.

Would be a decent choice for $250, one of the best of its range. At this price, it is absurd. Not even the audio jack and expandable storage can save it.

What the hell is Sony doing? Do they even pay attention to the modern smartphone market? Are they making phones in North Korea or something, where they don't have access to the internet? Seriously, aren't they embarrassed to release a phone like this in 2026?
I swear, I used to be a hardcore Sony fan. I absolutely loved this company. I had an Xperia T2 Ultra, and then I bought the Xperia Z2 that phone was an absolute masterpiece. But seriously, what the hell happened to Sony? How did they go from making phones like the Z2 to this?

Sony should just discontinue the 10 series if they can't even upgrade the hardware.

What is the point of this phone? It's 99% the same as last year with a massive price increase. Surely you can buy something else much better for the price.
