This is bad. And I have bought 3 Xperia devices in the past. I also used to defend SONY almost always. This is really bad - the price hike for limited to no innovation is taking the customers for granted.

By the way, here, xiaomi brings phones worse than Moto G series but at prixe of Edge series. I still remember when Mi Note 10 came same price of Samsung S series .

Same spec as my recently acquired Redmi Note 15. The Note 15 loses on WiFi spec and headphones jack. And probably UI too as I suspect the Sony will have less bloatware and ads.
Not sure if the price difference is worthy of the three advantages though. If the European RRP also holds true to my country, the Sony is one hell of an expensive phone. I can get three Redmi Note 15 with same amount of money.

Slowpoke, 25 Aug 2026If you told me the device came with Sony ear clips, I'd accept that price.My Xperia 10 VI bought by Amazon had a free pair of the WH-CH520 wireless headphones with them... which is ironic, since the 3.5mm jack is one of the iconic features on Sony phones :D And for "only" 400€... it was expensive 2 years ago, but 600€ now for this? Thanks but no thanks :]

Holy miss with this phone. I cannot believe I was waiting for this.
I am so glad I bought the Moto G57 Power honestly.
Bigger battery.
Almost same charging speed.
Headphone jack.
Better Chipset.
Less than HALF the price.
They threw in a Moto fit with it.
Same Ram but double the storage.
I only traded the MicroSD and poorer camera by the looks of it. What an absolute miss by Sony.

For the exuberant price the could have upgraded the battery to 6000mah with 45W charging. A new SD 6 gen 4 or Dimensity 7400.

Anonymous, 25 Aug 2026and then what? use hypergarbage?You should first try It and then complain about what you dont like. But we all know you never tried HyperOS, you just complain.
I as a Poco X7 Pro owner can say Its not as bad as some "experts" claim, the only anoying issue for me is that charging doesnt stop at 80% even though I set It. In that case I have to restart or shutdown and once more start the phone.

Ugly with terribly thick bezels. Even without looking at the spec sheet, this is already looking mediocre.. Sony, this can't be your best effort. Even Samsung who are lazy as fuck aren't this far behind the rest
