Rockstar had run a campaign offering the digital copy for free some time in 2020 or 2021 during the covid lockdown. I think it was to celebrate the game’s anniversary or something. That’s how I got the game and that was the first time I came to know that they had a launcher too. Still, revoking it without any notification was cunning.
I’ve always played GTA games with the official physical copy for PC and a few unofficial patched versions. This was all till I had Windows 7. After that, I haven’t even gamed that much.

Especially when the market is now stealing your hard earned money. The "You don't own anything but you only have digital Access because you have the key" hits harder on the consumer. Especially if the games that they wanted to play bought at $50 to $100. And then years later. Sony decides to remove those games that you've purchased without your consent. What will you do if one of the games that you've purchased in Digital Content cost $80. Suddenly disappears from your library? How can you play that old game that you loved to play??

Pathetic Excuse to Pirate Games? Tell me. How can I Purchase and play a PS5 Game if my country belongs to 120 regions worldwide where PSN is UNAVAILABLE? Or from a Country such as Russia where access to PlayStation Network is SUSPENDED? If you have a PS5 that doesn't have DISC Drive. Where can you download your PS5 games?
And since PS5 games are slowly being replaced with a Digital Download instead of a Disc. If Sony decides to remove some of the games in the network. And it includes your game. Do you get REFUND? NO! That's a money LOST! You don't even care if you lose money.
