As a psychologist, I can assure you - . . . That any psychologist who says those words should not be trusted. As psychologists, we cannot make meaning of a person's behaviour. We support people to make meaning of their own ways of doing things. As psychologists, we cannot judge another person's behaviour - because we haven't walked in their shoes and lived their lives. As psychologists, we definitely cannot discuss any person's family dynamics and interaction styles, regardless of whether we know them or not.
