Jason Cooper reposted thisJason Cooper reposted thisSome engineers build exactly what the customer asks. Will Furlow builds what they'd ask if they knew what was possible. He came to us from private equity and software consulting, with two computer science degrees from Stanford and a clear idea of the job he wanted: engineering alongside the customer, close enough to hear the problem and to build the answer himself. Netic gave him both, and it gave him the chance to help customers in essential service businesses that keep the country running. Will learned their day-to-day operations and led the implementations that put AI at the front of how they run. He flew across the country to sit with the operators who know this trade best and brought their playbooks straight into the product. What he picks up in one customer's office, he builds into engineering that lifts every business on Netic. He comes with a point of view on what will grow the business, and he stays with it until the numbers move. That's what forward-deployed engineering looks like at Netic. The first meeting, the onboarding, the work onsite, and every optimization after, all owned by our team. Will takes on outsized ownership with every customer he works with, and he's setting the standard for every engineer who joins the Netic team. Will, we're so glad you're building this with us!

Jason Cooper shared thisNetic is hosting Kyle Hanagami (BLACKPINK choreographer) Saturday October 3rd. Come take a free class with a real pro. We’d love to see folks out there with your dancing shoes on! If you're interested, here is the rsvp form: https://lnkd.in/gmqc8m7J 🕺🏻💃🏽Jason Cooper shared thisSome exciting personal news: Kyle Hanagami is coming to SF to teach a dance workshop, and I get to host it! I was captain of MIT Asian Dance Team in college and have been a fan of Kyle's choreography for years. He's choreographed for BLACKPINK (Kill This Love, DDU-DU DDU-DU, Boombayah, etc), aespa, TWICE, BABYMONSTER, Red Velvet and NCT DREAM. Getting to learn from him in person is something I never expected to happen, so I'm pretty excited. My company, Netic, is sponsoring it, so it's free. ⏳ Saturday, Oct 3 Two sessions, same choreography: 1:30–3:00 or 3:30–5:00 This is an all-level workshop - both beginners and experienced are welcomed. Spots are limited to 50 per session. Come and enjoy some fun dance time! 💃 RSVP: https://luma.com/t3kxwnev If you know someone who'd love this, please send it their way!

Jason Cooper reposted thisJason Cooper reposted thisMost people join a company for a role. Charles Ide joined Netic for its mission, then built the role to match it. He was at Scale AI, training frontier agent models, but Charles wanted to build for the real world, not just Silicon Valley labs. One call with Melisa laid out an industry that software had passed over for decades: the essential service businesses that keep the country running, and a plan to build the AI that finally serves them. Melisa couldn't tell him exactly what he'd be doing at Netic, but Charles told her he'd figure it out. A year later, his work runs through every part of the company. Integration work our team once ran by hand: configuring telephony stacks, adding speed to lead vendors, and setting up new tenant data across dozens of disparate systems, was hours of work that now takes a few clicks. Charles got our sales team fluent in the product and the industry they're selling into, and he's become an engineer our customers count on throughout their Netic partnership. Every problem he takes on turns into something durable: a product, a process, a team that can run with it. "I didn't know exactly what I'd be doing here," Charles says. "That was the appeal." The role nobody could define last summer is now an entire function. Charles is building out our forward-deployed engineering team, and he's looking for people who see an undefined problem the way he does, as the best part of the job. Charles, we're so glad you're building this with us!

Jason Cooper reposted thisJason Cooper reposted thisNetic was founded to power the essential services that keep America running. Technician David Ghahramany has been diagnosing HVAC systems for almost 20 years. KPIX | CBS San Francisco/Bay Area followed him on a no-cooling call and asked what Netic's AI actually changed about his job. "AI makes life much easier for senior techs, so I can focus more on what I do best." Khaled Ghazal, Art of Comfort's CEO, agreed: "We can execute without missing any call." Many people assume AI is only for white collar work. Netic and Art of Comfort's partnership shows that couldn't be further from the truth. We're proud to power essential businesses and help them focus more on what they do best. Jason Cooper reposted thisJason Cooper reposted thisWe're proud to announce our partnership with American Residential Services to bring frontier AI to one of America's largest home services providers. ARS is deploying Netic's AI platform across their national network to help customer service specialists support more homeowners, respond faster, and continue delivering the high-quality experience the company is known for as it grows nationwide. Within 2 months, we’re nearly complete with the national deployment. Divakar Jandhyala, Chief Technology Officer at ARS said: "There were two key things we looked for as we searched for an AI partner. First, we needed AI that could consistently deliver for our customers. Second, we wanted a partner with the technical depth to deploy AI successfully across a complex enterprise. Netic has been that partner, helping us expand our capabilities while maintaining the service standards our customers expect." This collaboration reflects a shared belief that AI delivers the greatest value when it empowers people rather than replaces them. Thanks to the entire team at ARS for their partnership. We’re excited for all that is ahead!

Jason Cooper reposted thisJason Cooper reposted thisMost 20-year-olds are halfway through college. At 20, Davin Jeong left Harvard to go all-in on Netic, and he hasn't looked back. Davin has spent his whole life chasing the steepest learning curve he could find. This drive is exactly what led him to Netic. At Netic, Davin could deploy AI for mission-critical essential service businesses, build custom software to help our customers improve their operations, and he could spend time in-person with industry leaders around the country. Davin didn’t need to hear anything else. This was his room, and he fit right in. He was deploying for customers by week two and pitching companies in Colorado by week three. Since then, he's owned entire workflows in new verticals, shipped custom integrations alongside our customers' engineering teams, and taken on Agent Builder, our internal agent that builds other agents. All before turning 21. That’s what happens when extraordinary talent is trusted with extraordinary ownership. “At Netic, anything you touch moves the whole business," Davin says, and no one runs at that harder than he does. He raises the bar for everyone around him and he's only getting started. He found the room where he'd grow the fastest. Davin, we're so glad you're building this with us

Jason Cooper reposted thisJason Cooper reposted thisI am continually asked: "What does an outlier founder look like?" Forbes just named Netic to its Next Billion-Dollar Startups list, so here is my answer: Melisa Tokmak grew up in a small town in Turkey, went to India alone to complete high school, and came to Stanford on a full scholarship. After Stanford, she started at Instagram and Facebook, then was recruited away to Scale AI where she then initiated and ran multiple businesses. She founded Netic to bring AI to the real world industries running our economy. Trades. Consumer Wellness. Veterinary. Automotive. The work that often goes unwritten. She chose this path because she recognized the actual challenge with AI is making it work in the real messy world. She could not let it go. Since the seed round, Melisa has continued to walk through walls daily. She has recruited an exceptional team in San Francisco, created a high-performance culture, is delivering an AI-native platform with extraordinary value, and is completely obsessed with making each of her customers successful. The business is scaling fast, in double-digit millions ARR, and has spent almost none of the venture money she raised. All of us at Greylock Partners are proud to be Melisa's partner and first believer, starting from her Seed round. While what Melisa has already achieved since starting is an Outlier, she and Netic are only just getting started - on their journey to build the category-leading company that will eventually serve all the leading customers across all services industries. cc: Melisa Tokmak, Netic, Greylock Partners, Sophia Luo, Glen Evans, Holly Rose Faith Photo: Melisa a few minutes after signing her Seed termsheet with Greylock.

Jason Cooper liked thisJason Cooper liked this6:45 a.m., April 2, 2007 -- I walked into the bullpen on the 10th Floor of 545 Fifth Avenue, in New York City. I was wearing a Lands End suit I bought for <$200. My boss was already there. That was the beginning of my career at Motion Recruitment. My LinkedIn profile shows what I did and where I did it in the last two decades. What it doesn't show is the ups, downs, successes, failures, wins, losses, risks, frustrations, moments of elation and despair and rage, accomplishments, lessons, mentors, mentees, peers, competitors, teammates, friends, client partners, candidates, memories, and all that has been the last nearly 20 years of my life. It was a pretty good run all told. And thanks to all of you who made it possible. 4:40 p.m., September 18, 2026 -- I hit "Post" and end my career with Motion. See ya back here on Monday

Recruiters spend too much time chasing updates instead of evaluating candidates. Manual follow-ups fragment focus, delay decisions, and quietly reduce hiring quality. Pilatus brings structure to hiring communication by automating updates across the workflow. That means less time spent on coordination and more time spent on judgment, assessment, and making the right hiring decisions. Better focus leads to better hires. #RecruitmentAutomation #HiringEfficiency #TalentOperations #AlphaNextPilatus #Pilatus

With California’s new CCPA ADMT (Automated Decision-Making Technology) rules taking shape, anxiety is rising across the staffing industry — especially around automation tools like chatbots, candidate matching, and AI-driven scoring. That’s why we’re launching an industry campaign focused on helping staffing firms move from uncertainty to confidence. And we’re bringing together the experts to have a real, practical conversation about what responsible automation actually looks like. 🗓 Thursday, March 5th @ 9:00 AM PST 🎙 Format: Interactive panel discussion We’re excited to spotlight: • Martyn Redstone, Head of Responsible AI at Warden AI • Liisa Thomas, Partner at Sheppard (covering the legal heavy lifting) • Ram Gudavalli, CTO at Sense Sense is already working with Warden on AI assurance — making Ram uniquely positioned to speak to what “gold standard” compliant automation looks like in practice. This is the conversation staffing leaders need right now: ✔️ How CCPA ADMT impacts chatbots, matching, and scoring ✔️ What regulators actually care about ✔️ How responsible vendors design automation that protects your agency ✔️ What you should be asking your technology partners If you're feeling pressure around AI governance, audits, or compliance risk — this session is for you.
