Sandra Zawacki reposted thisSome of the best ideas come from conversations you didn't plan to have. That's why events like RecFest USA remain so important. They bring together talent leaders, HR professionals, and workforce experts to share experiences, challenge thinking, and learn from one another. A great perspective from Chris Allen on the value of meaningful conversations and the connections that drive our talent industry forward. Sandra Zawacki reposted thisSandra Zawacki reposted thisHappy 50th, Michael Page When I started in recruitment over 30 years ago, my desk looked very different to how it does today. A notepad. A pen. A copy of the local business directory. And a corded telephone. Then came computers, mobile phones, email, video calls and, most recently, AI. The way we work and connect with clients and talent has changed beyond recognition. And that's just in the last 30 years. Looking back over Michael Page's 50-year history, the pace of change has been extraordinary. Yet for all that change, the things most important to us haven't changed at all: the relationships we build, the trust clients place in us to help them grow, and the opportunities we help unlock for people ready to take their next step. That's why Michael Page has stayed at the forefront through five decades of economic cycles, technological shifts and changing workforce expectations. We're rightly proud of that experience and expertise, but having 50 years behind us isn't about looking backwards. It's about understanding what matters, adapting to what changes, and helping clients and candidates navigate what's next. That mindset has been shaped by generations of Michael Page leadership. I’d like to give particular thanks to my predecessor, Steve Ingham CBE, who helped guide the business through periods of significant growth and change, building the foundations that allow us to keep evolving today. I'm immensely grateful for the role he played in shaping the company we know now. Success is a team game, so I also want to extend my thanks to everyone else who has been part of the journey so far. We're 50 years old today. And it feels like we're just getting started. We connect talent that makes a difference.

Sandra Zawacki liked thisSandra Zawacki liked thisFifteen years ago, I got a call from the Motion Recruitment team in Los Angeles. At the time, I was a 21-year-old a few months out of college, working an outside B2B sales job that was 100% commission. My days consisted of driving all over LA, living paycheck to paycheck, and holding onto the vague hope that it might somehow turn into a career. Then Motion called. I showed up to the interview wearing an oversized dress shirt, slacks, and a tie I proudly purchased at Ross. If you had told me then that software staffing, a term I wasn't even sure existed, would become the foundation of my career, I probably would have assumed you had the wrong person. I was nervous walking into that interview, but I immediately felt at ease. I didn't fully understand the industry, but I knew I was hungry, willing to learn, and ready for an opportunity. Eventually, I met with James Vallone, who offered me the job. As they say, the rest is history. Fast forward 15 years, and I've learned far more from my failures than my successes. It sounds cliché because it is, but it's also true. Looking back, that uncomfortable, commission-only sales role taught me resilience, perseverance, and how to embrace uncertainty. Little did I know it was preparing me for a career at a company where I'd spend the next decade and a half. You could say it forced me to grow up pretty quickly. This milestone is really about the people who shaped my journey along the way. Thank you to James Vallone for taking a chance on me and helping mold me into a business professional. Thank you to Matt Milano, Beth Gilfeather, Matthias Najera, Ryan Crimmins, Evan Gordon for showing me the way and believing in me at moments when I needed it most. Thank you to Jeff Henley , Casey Richie, and My Do Viloria for giving me the opportunity to grow, evolve Motion Consulting Group: A Kelly Company. Most importantly, thank you to the countless clients, consultants, candidates, coworkers, and friends I've had the privilege of building relationships with over the years. From my staffing days to our evolution into consulting and solutions, those relationships have made this journey meaningful and rewarding. Fifteen years later, I'm still learning, still growing, and living proof that confidence, persistence, and a Ross tie can take you farther than you'd expect. Cheers to all of you, and thank you for being part of the journey.

Sandra Zawacki liked thisSandra Zawacki liked thisMagnit Global has appointed Amy Bush as President of Client Services, placing an experienced workforce solutions leader at the helm of its global client services organisation. Bush joins Magnit from KellyOCG, where she led the integration of KellyOCG, RocketPower and Sevenstep, unifying operating models and technology stacks to deliver more agile and client-focused solutions for large enterprises. Reporting to Interim CEO Jim Bradley, she will now bring Magnit's global client services teams together with a mandate to strengthen consistency, accountability, operational execution and client experience. Her experience includes working with Fortune 100 and global organisations and building scalable workforce solutions that connect business strategy with changing talent requirements. Bradley said Bush “knows how to turn alignment into results” and expects her leadership to further strengthen Magnit's partnerships with organisations relying on it for workforce orchestration. The appointment comes as managing the extended workforce becomes increasingly strategic — requiring organisations to balance access to talent with agility, technology, compliance, cost control and consistent employee and client experiences. Sandra Zawacki liked thisSandra Zawacki liked thisI began a new chapter in my career as President, Client Services at Magnit Global recently. The journey in getting here has been incredibly meaningful, and I am deeply grateful for the people, relationships, and work that have shaped my career. To the strong women leaders that mentored my path forward, taught me to break glass and keep pushing - Rebecca Henderson, Jo-Ann Feely, Beth Gilfeather, Tammy Browning and so very many more - thank you for leading the way. My recent role meant navigating meaningful change and bringing teams together in ways I will be proud of for a long time. I leave with tremendous gratitude for, and confidence in, the RPO team. They are primed for success, and I will be cheering them on always. To my colleagues at Sevenstep... it was a journey of a lifetime. I am so grateful and humbled to have been a part of this rich history of innovation, excellence and friendship. I am equally excited about the step that I am taking. This opportunity with Magnit allows me to build on what I have learned, bring my experience to a new audience, and continue growing in a dynamic, evolving space. On day 6 in my new role, I can confidently say... watch this space as there is much more to come. I am grateful to everyone who has been in my corner, and I am relishing launching into what's next. To all my past teammates, and to my brand-new ones, thank you for sharing part of your lives with me as we build (and have built) something unique for our clients and teams. The future is very bright. Let's go!

The latest Staffing Industry Analysts| Bullhorn Staffing Indicator shows overall staffing hours ticking slightly above 2025 levels. As we enter a 13-week stretch without federal holidays, we should start to have a clearer view of true market demand. One point of clarification: property management staffing is often overlooked in industry reporting. It typically falls under commercial staffing, not IT and not traditional light industrial. That distinction matters. Multifamily hiring trends reflect occupancy, development activity, and operator confidence. We’re watching closely to see whether 2026 brings cautious backfilling or more meaningful team investment. At The Liberty Group, we’re focused on partnering with operators through whatever this next phase brings and we are ready for every challenge we will face. #staffing #multifamily #propertymanagement #workforce #peoplepropertypossibility #MultifamilyStaffing #TheLibertyGroup
