This will help us build, train, deploy, run, and evaluate AI agents in controlled environments with enforceable security rules and a clear record of their actions. Enterprises need clear, enforceable safety boundaries before trusting AI agents with critical work: - What can they access? - What can they do? - When must they stop? Morgan Khodayari reposted thisMorgan Khodayari reposted thisCan an AI agent diagnose a patient correctly without reading their chart? Should it? Today Scale AI Labs released CliniCARE-Bench: 16 agentic systems, 25 clinical care scenarios, 750 real patient cases. A benchmark built to test whether these systems can do clinical work, not just answer clinical questions. Two findings. Error rates on the underlying models reached 34.7%. And when we required systems to be both correct and free of incorrect shortcuts, scores dropped by as much as 14.8%. The second number matters. Agents were frequently landing on the right answer without working through the longitudinal record, reconciling conflicting evidence, or grounding the conclusion in the chart in front of them. Right answer, wrong process. In some domains, that's a curiosity. In medicine, it's the entire question. A clinician doesn't just need the conclusion — they need to know the conclusion was earned. This is the gap between a model that tests well and a system a clinician can rely on. Closing it determines which healthcare AI actually reaches patients, and which stays in the pilot phase forever. The industry has to change what it measures. Accuracy alone is not a sufficient standard for clinical AI. Process fidelity, evidence grounding, and knowing when to abstain belong in the score. For anyone deploying today, value depends on: Which tasks the agent handles reliably — measured, not assumed. And how carefully it's wired into the workflow: governed data access, your own protocols enforced, evidence requirements made explicit, and a clear rule for when it defers to a clinician. Real clinical work takes more than medical knowledge. Our benchmarks have to reflect that. If you're evaluating clinical AI right now — what are you measuring beyond accuracy? Morgan Khodayari reacted on thisAfter almost 8 years building security at Stripe, I've joined Scale AI as Head of Security. I'm very proud of what the team at Stripe has and continues to accomplish. We invested in primitives rather than point fixes: strong identity, least-privilege access, secrets management and paved-road infrastructure that engineers adopted by default. That foundation let the business ship quickly into new markets and products without re-solving security every time. AI raises the stakes. Enterprises and governments need AI systems they can trust, with sovereign deployments, model-agnostic architectures, protection of sensitive data and clear controls over how models and agents act. Scale is helping build that, and I'm excited to lead security as we do. We're hiring across security. If you want to protect some of the world's most critical AI deployments, let's chat!

Morgan Khodayari reacted on thisMorgan Khodayari reacted on thisOur AI future should not be steered by speculative warnings. We have to be driven by evidence. That was the clearest takeaway from this week's AI conversations at the UN General Assembly. Governments need to get serious about testing frontier AI, and nowhere is that more urgent than in Washington. Getting serious means three things: → Clear responsibility for testing across agencies → Access to models before they're deployed → Funding for the experts and tools to do the work Scale AI's cyber research shows what testing can reveal. We've seen AI agents carry out an attacker's instructions while still finishing the user's task, so the user never knew anything went wrong. We've also seen models refuse to help people defend their own systems. Both are failures. Real testing has to measure the harm AI can cause and the help it fails to give. Government shouldn't have to rely solely on AI developers to explain these failures. It needs its own testing capacity, with the expertise to ask hard questions and the tools to answer them. Scale has worked with the U.S. government for years to test the risks and capabilities of AI models, and we're accelerating that work in the months ahead. The nation that can measure the frontier will be the one that steers it. Here's what we think America should do next: https://lnkd.in/eH9mEPPATo Steer the AI Frontier, Washington Must Build Its Testing PowerTo Steer the AI Frontier, Washington Must Build Its Testing Power

Most tech startup founders think the problem with their hiring is comp/benefits/equity. News flash: it’s usually none of those. The real issue is rooted in clarity. Candidates want to understand: • What problem they are being hired to solve • What success looks like • How much chaos to expect • How empowered they will be • Whether leadership actually knows what they want You don't need the perfect job description. You just need a clear one. Clarity is the new competitive advantage in tech hiring!

Block's decision to cut 4,000 people this week got me digging into what's really happening across tech layoffs right now. The pattern looks familiar. In the last 3 months alone: Amazon cut 16,000. Meta cut 1,500. Pinterest 700. eBay 800. Mastercard 1,400. Salesforce ~1,000. Block 4,000. January 2026 saw the highest US layoff announcements since 2009, up 118% YoY. Nearly all of these companies are profitable. Many are posting record numbers. And nearly all cited AI as "a" or "the" reason. But here's what the data and my own experience actually suggests is likely happening in three phases: Phase 1 >> Cut (now): Eliminate high-cost IC roles doing routine work in expensive markets. Frame it as AI transformation. Generous severance buys goodwill. Stock jumps 10-25% overnight. The market rewards headcount reduction, and cost discipline. Phase 2 >> Shift (12-24 months): Quietly backfill those same functions at 30-70% lower cost in India, SEA, and Eastern Europe. A January 2026 Blind survey of 2,392 verified tech professionals found 38% say India hiring is replacing US roles not complementing them. Phase 3 >> Automate (2-4 years): Use the freed-up capital to build AI systems that eventually automate the offshore roles too. The lower-cost workforce is the transitional bridge, not the destination. Forrester's data backs this up: 55% of companies that cut staff for AI ended up rehiring, just not at the same price or in the same location. Their prediction is blunt: "Much of this work will be given to lower-wage human workers, offshore or at lower salary, under the guise of AI." There is no disputing that AI is the future. The cost pressure during the transition is real. But what's being sold as a technology transformation is, right now, a workforce geography play with AI as the eventual endgame. The people making and communicating these decisions aren't necessarily lying about where this ends, but they're not being explicit about the path to get there. What is your take on this?

One of TA’s biggest problems right now is fraudulent candidates… Anyone working in-house knows the pain of inbound applications compounded with not knowing if candidates are really who they say they are. Well, my friends at Gem just announced their new AI agent that detects fraud and then assesses overall risk. Here’s what it does: Automatically scans applications when submitted Evaluates fraud risk using multiple signals (resume metadata, email, phone, LinkedIn, person verification, IP, and device) Assigns a risk level to each application (not just flags) Works where recruiters already review applications — no tool switching (if you’re a Gem user 😉) Recruiters maintain full control to advance or reject suspicious applications Enable Fraud Detection per-job for flexibility This is going to save so much time and put the power back in the hands of the recruiter. You can sign up for the waitlist the in the comments or comment waitlist if you don’t see it. Thanks Gem. #partner #sponsor

After a deep focus on building and scaling recruiting operations at incredible companies, I'm resurfacing to share some reflections. It’s easy to become obsessed with the metrics. And don't get me wrong, I love data. I've seen firsthand how process optimization can slash time-to-fill by 77% (from 54 to 12 days!) and drive millions in cost savings. But the "what" (the data) is only powerful when you know the "why" (the people). My passion is using data not as a report card, but as a flashlight. It illuminates friction for candidates and for hiring teams. It reveals where recruiting teams need better enablement. It helps us build simple, transparent, and scalable processes that serve people instead of frustrating them. Great data doesn't replace human connection 💞 ; it removes the barriers to it. As I continue to build and look toward my next challenge, this dual focus on operational excellence and developing high-performing teams is my north star. It’s been a minute, LinkedIn! ⌚ What's one way you've seen data successfully used to improve the human side of recruiting recently? #RecruitingOperations #TalentAcquisition #Leadership #DataDrivenHR #FutureofWork #PeopleAnalytics #CandidateExperience
