Does throttling reduce sustained performance compared to peak performance? Sure. Does an underclocked CPU that stays under throttling temperature perform better than a full-clock throttling one? No.
Just look at the temperatures these phones are reaching while doing benchmarks, they're already squeezing all they can from them, if throttling was reducing performance as much as you think they wouldn't heat that much.
Plus, other than emulation, what other everyday use do you know that will make a chip like this throttle? Even the most demanding games, are heavy on the GPUmore than the CPU, and even then reducing clock speeds can only decrease performance, there's literally no advantage. Throttling is not something that "just happens", it's the CPU manufacturer who establishes at what temperature the chip can safely operate without degrading the silicon and sets it as the max temperature the chip will reach, the reason it's there is to literally give you as much performance as allowed by the cooling system.

Sustained performance should also be more prominent in the performance charts and not only a side note at the end. There is no comparison of sustained performance between different smartphones in the tests.
And while I see peak performance not as completely useless as some other user here. Sustained performance is essential, especially for the GPU.
Your point can also be translated to the charging charts. Why make it as percent and not mAh? It just rewards manufacturer with tiny batteries.

Outside benchmarking, most users won't want to get high performance for only about 10 minutes and switch to lower performance. It's normal to play games continuously for 4 to 5 hours with only short breaks. For everyday tasks such as web browsing, lower clock speeds are more than enough. Did you know that an SoC won't run at its full capacity when performing light tasks?

Just stop using the cpu throttling test app. This phone is not even using its peak cpu perf in it. And 59°c battery but the back is not hot to touch? So the liquid cooling on top of the battery is doing its job? Wheres the thermal image?
And delta force mobile is still unreal 4, not 5.

phone with an under display camera among all others u
mentioned so u should reconsider before comparing so
anyway u should try it as i have used one for around7.5
years and its ahead of its time even until a decade man
!
other phones r no where near its truly bezelless display
on the phone am using & not even the samsung galaxy
note7 or fe edition and it is truly a masterpiece till today
!

Please take a minute and reflect on your life a bit, no ones should be this sad.

What O... morePrecisely. The sustained score of 6k in Wildlife Extreme is mightily impressive, given that other flagships with the same chipset can barely reach 5k (just for reference, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max scores 4k and Realme GT8 Pro scores a paltry 2.5k).
Even when comparing with the previous best of OP15, the difference in scores is 20%. That means RM woild be dissipating ~40-50% more heat than OP on a sustained basis!

bought rog 6 and its motherboard failed for me just after warranty, a little googling and apparently motherboard failing is quite commonly reported in their product from pc line to phone not to mention the cost to repair is almost 80% of the purchase price so yeah, bye2 rog

Nubia doesn't use LTPO, that's why the battery is lower than phones that have it.
