Anonymous, 19 Dec 2023Probably not.. brands like these offer almost no software update support.. Dont buywhy even comment if u have no idea about Nubia's software update schedule? every 2-3 months since I got the Nubia 8 pro. I'm sure there's other companies with a longer and better Software Support than Nubia, especially for a European like me but saying they don't have any is just cringe.

Android phones in Europe early next year must meet regulations and be able to remove software like windows 11 for Europe all software can be replaced, android phones is a really a rabbit hole
For me desing is what im loocking for, is bit guhe for my hands and daily usimg but for gaming is perfect!
Problem wich brands like Nubia, ZTE, and similar is software updates and multilanguage support and translate, is not correct always even in english and you only getting mostly one Android version and mabey 2 or 3 security or any other update.
If you want a gaming phone, get an Asus, not Nubia... Their update support sucks. But best if you don't even get a gaming phone and get a handheld gaming device instead.
ferwxc, 18 Dec 2023Will it have any software update, like all the ZTE phones? I wonder.Probably not.. brands like these offer almost no software update support..
Dont buy
Looking at the performance of both this and x100 pro, I am curious to know how an soc with 8 x Cortex-A720 cores would perform. It has a very high chance of being exceptional.
That is the best design ever
Is it just me or are the articles of GSMArena no longer consistent in including Software and Security updates, OS's track record and how brands are handling their promises and updates in their software reviews anymore? Or is there a good reason?

I think the stability and cooling solution can be improved over time so the issues regarding stress tests may not relevant anymore after software upgrades. IMO it's still the better phone than the Pro+ and a really nice phone for extended gaming.
Anonymous, 18 Dec 2023So, according to you, ppl that want this phone will never use it for anything else but games. ... morethat would be great actually - and remove the camera. just an android gamin device with mobile connectivity.... should bring the cost down even more
Nice ZTE design
I bet the heating is a software bug but damn. that's a tad shameful coming from a supposed gaming phone. €649 is on the other hand a CRAZY price, I'll definitely get one.
All the cameras on this thing are piss-poor. I know that isn't the main focus of this device, but they're letting decent hardware go to waste.
Sounds pretty nice but i have few issues with this one.
1) The software support should be mentioned and longer than EOL when the next model comes out in 6months
2) does it have full google services like G pay with no issues
3) Thermal handling seems to be step back
Maybe i'll just wait for the S model if they have smoothened the hardware bugs by then
Anonymous, 18 Dec 2023I ask the question again: why on earth does a gaming phone have cameras? Apart from possibly t... moreSo, according to you, ppl that want this phone will never use it for anything else but games.
