Most people praising this phone don't have it, but when they buy it they will soon realize it's the wrong choice unless they care only about gaming.

I see a lot of people praising this phone but actually they do not tell you all, specially the bad points. I have been using the RM9 pro for around a month and I have encountered so much problems and bugs. Some are listed below.
1, the display accuracy is so bad. There are only three color options to choose with two completely unusable due to the overly yellowish tint. If you want reading mode you don't need to switch it on, these two color options are enough. People owning this phone can confirm it.
2, people say it has good battery backup but actually the power drain when idle is very high, around 4% every 6 hours. The weirdest part is that the screen consumes more power when off than the apps.
3, sometimes the 120fps refresh rate stops working on its own, and I have to leave the phone idle for like 15mins for it to work again.
4, the scheduled power on/off does not work properly. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.
5, In gamespace, the first wallpaper when we enter is zoomed in instead of the actual size and other wallpapers sometimes takes time to load.
6. The tiny screen over the front camera is poor quality. On the first day of use there was no issue at all but when I ran wildlife extreme stress test for the first time the phone turned off due to overheating. When I switched back on, there was a noticeable greenish tint on the tiny screen. It was obvious that it got damaged and its permanent. So, be careful with overheating.
The above are only a few issues, I am sure if I use the phone for like a year the amount of bugs and problems encountered will increase. If we list all here, am sure those who were planning to buy this phone will change their mind.
I am just a basic user, thats why I chose this phone, but after using it, it doesn't feels like a flagship at all. It just feels like a mid range with an 8gen3 chip.
Why GSMArena did not test the display accuracy and no one talking about it. I have the red magic 9 pro and the display accuracy is so bad. There are only three color options to choose with only the colorful preset useable. The others are too yellowish as if reading mode is on and no way usable. The previous Red magic 8 pro had much more color options and better display accuracy. This one is a complete downgrade and disappointing. Maybe that's why GSMArena did not talk about it.
Yaseen.97, 02 Feb 2024What's the band 71 for?Band n71 is for extended range 5G for T-Mobile in the US, so basically if you have a Redmagic phone with T-Mobile (or related MVNOs) you'll pretty much only get 5G in the centers of major cities.

Stop lying about features GSM arena. This isn't an option nor do your screenshots show it to be an option.

I just bought the Redmagic 9 and version 0.11 solved all the heating issue and throttling issue. Coming from Poco F5, couldn't help but marvel at the stability of all games I played at max settings. No frame drops and lags whatsoever, no heating issues even at games on max settings (temperatures hover at 36-39c), battery life is stellar and the UI is similar to stock android, very refreshing coming from MIUI. front cam is terrible, main cam is decent but don't expect much. The snowfall version is very aesthetically pleasing. Overall 11/10
How are you going to make me "NEXT PAGE" through this entire "REVIEW" and not mention anything about connectivity or network compatibility???

ZTE phones are the one of if not the worst when it comes to software updates/upgrades. Heck even exynos has more software updates/upgrades than anything ZTE related and i've read a lot about how bad exynos is on xda (mostly gs3/note2).
