Pages already pulling clicks for long-tail searches can be expanded into full guides, FAQs, or even new collections. This isn’t guesswork. It’s using Google’s own data to decide what to publish, optimize, or double down on. Keyword tools give you a forecast. Search Console shows you the weather outside your front door. If you’re creating content without looking at Search Console first, you’re leaving money on the table.

It's one of the only places to get first-party data around the queries people are using to access your site. If you have enough data, you can use Search Console to source queries for new content opportunities. You can perform this process by following these steps: 1. Navigate to Search Console 2. Go to Performance > Search Results 3. Click New > Query 4. Select the dropdown and choose "Custom (regex)" 5. For your regular expression enter: "what|when|why|how|can|should" 6. Click "Apply" and review the queries Now you should see query opportunities that use these question modifiers. You can start analyzing the intent of these keywords against the content you have on your site. If you don't have the content to match intent, these might be great new content ideas for your site to target longer-tail phrases.
