Recruiters are losing 60-70% of their day to tasks a machine could handle. LinkedIn just bet $450M that AI can fix it. Their new agentic AI tools just launched with significant enterprise traction. CEO Dan Shapero credits a simple philosophy: solve customer pain first, ship AI second. That matters more than people realize. Most companies race to launch AI agents because the market expects it. Shapero's team spent nearly a year testing before going big. The outcome: higher response rates and measurable time savings. This is where it gets tricky. AI should absolutely automate: → Initial resume parsing and skills mapping → Candidate outreach sequencing → Follow-up scheduling → Pipeline status updates These are repeatable, rule-based tasks that offer limited strategic value. AI shouldn't replace: → Reading between the lines on career pivots → Spotting potential beyond keyword matches → Understanding why someone left a role after six months This is where 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬-𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 enters the conversation. AI can surface skills proxies that humans miss entirely. Someone's GitHub contributions. A certification buried on page two. Volunteer work that signals leadership. But without guardrails, agents still default to pedigree. They'll rank the Stanford grad over the community college transfer who outperformed everyone at their last company. 🚀 Built an AI-Powered Instructor Recruitment Screener using n8n! Excited to share one of my recent projects where I designed an automated workflow to streamline the recruitment process for AI Instructor roles. 🔹 What this workflow does: Collects candidate data through an application form Extracts key information from uploaded resumes (PDF parsing) Cleans and structures the data for analysis Uses an AI Agent (LLM) to evaluate candidate profiles Generates structured outputs for decision-making Automatically stores results in Google Sheets Sends automated email responses based on selection criteria 🔹 Tech Stack: n8n | AI Agents | Google Gemini | Structured Output Parsing | Google Sheets API | Automation Workflows 🔹 Key Highlights: ✔ End-to-end automation of recruitment screening ✔ Reduced manual effort in resume filtering ✔ Real-time decision-making using AI ✔ Seamless integration with email and data storage This project helped me dive deeper into Agentic AI workflows, automation pipelines, and real-world AI integration.
