“There are not enough accolades to heap upon Corine! We began with a fuzzy concept for a Veteran's Day program. With Corine's help, we brought to fruition a beautiful night honoring the military. The added touches Corine recommended allowed the creativity to really stand out. Having been so impressed with her professionalism and personal touch, it was easy to choose to work with Corine again for my own business. Thanks Corine for all you do!”

Since 2013, we gave away over $199,000. in scholarships at the Thousand Oaks Branch of the YMCA programs and services for individuals and families in need.
Our Branch Advisory Board is composed of community leaders who are committed advocates of the YMCA's Mission Statement, Core Values, and Strategic Vision for the future. Our board helps the YMCA meet community needs and brings value to the neighborhoods we serve. As the Board Development Chairperson, I develop and facilitate the annual Board Leadership Retreat. I also work with the board and staff to recruit and qualify those in our community that have a heart to serve as an Advisory Board Member in the following areas:
Counsel and Advisement / Community Connector / Lead a Financial Development Program
Since I have been a board member, our branch has won the coveted Y Partners Award ( 2012 & 2013 ) for the branch that has raised the highest % over their fundraising goal!
In 2013 our branch distributed over $155,000 in scholarships for families in need throughout our community.
We also help the YMCA identify community needs and service gaps, review member satisfaction, provide recommendations for programming and insight on exceptional customer service. We facilitate collaborations and partnerships with business, community and civic leaders and commit to
financial support for fundraising campaigns to support their success.
P.S. Our Board Leadership Retreat was a huge success! We participated in team building activities,
identified and shared our spiritual gifts and created our board plans for a successful 2015! -
