Last Tuesday, 500 of our Team Members came together to commemorate Earth Day with an invigorating 2.4-kilometre walk around Gardens by the Bay. The event began at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre with a competitive quiz designed to challenge their knowledge on environmental issues, while otter mascots enlivened the ballroom with light-hearted interactions. The walk took our Team Members through the lush, vibrant landscapes of Gardens by the Bay, where they immersed themselves in the beauty of nature while reflecting on the importance of preserving our planet. At Marina Bay Sands, we believe that fostering environmental awareness is key to building a sustainable future. This is why we remain committed to integrating sustainability into our culture. This Earth Day Walk is just one example of how we engage and inspire our Team Members. We proudly hosted the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide 2025 Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre on 25 April, marking the first time the prestigious event was held outside of China. This milestone event, which saw 16 Singapore restaurants being recognised, reflects the growing global influence of Chinese gastronomy while underscoring Singapore’s position as one of the top dining capitals of Asia. Recognised as one of China’s most influential culinary guides, the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide aims to recognise the best in fine-dining fare in Asia with a Chinese perspective in mind. Our integrated resort welcomed more than 200 esteemed guests for the award ceremony, including top chefs, industry experts, and food enthusiasts, uniting six regional cities for an extraordinary night of culinary excellence and cultural exchange. The evening culminated in a Black Pearl Gala Dinner, featuring an exclusive one-night-only 10-hands collaboration helmed by chefs from two Black Pearl Three-Diamond restaurants from Shanghai, Yongfu and Jing Xi Hui (“Amazing Chinese Cuisine”); One-Diamond restaurant Waku Ghin by Tetsuya Wakuda, One-Diamond restaurant La Chine from Macao, as well as Marina Bay Sands’ acclaimed CUT by Wolfgang Puck. We are honoured to be a part of this historic moment. It is our privilege to have contributed to the internationalisation of Chinese culinary culture while establishing a platform that showcases the region's gastronomic evolution. #MarinaBaySands

15 years ago today, Marina Bay Sands opened its doors, introducing locals and tourists to an all-new integrated resort concept in Singapore. Since then, we have cemented our position as an architectural icon in the Singapore skyline and made our mark as a luxury leader. In 2021, we embarked on an ambitious US$1.75 billion luxury reinvestment programme. The 15th year milestone comes in tandem with the pending completion of The Sands Collection of rooms and suites in early May. With that, both The Sands Collection and The Paiza Collection will be at full inventory, with approximately 1,850 rooms including 775 suites. Our Chief Operating Officer Paul Town reflects on our journey. “15 years ago, the environment was very different. The Singapore Government had an incredible vision, recognising that integrated resorts have the potential to attract higher value tourists and put Singapore on the world map for luxury hospitality. In the first decade, our strategy centred around establishing ourselves as a world-class player in this space. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously, and we have become an icon of Singapore,” he said. Over time, guest profiles have evolved and that was the impetus for the reinvestment, added Town. “Over the last five years, there has been a transition around the world in the luxury space. Luxury travellers have changed their behaviour. They've become much more engaged in their destinations. They've been starting to look well beyond just the kind of transactional elements of a tourism experience and into more lifestyle elements.” The reinvestment, as well as the upcoming ultra-luxury destination (IR2), places us in a prime position to continue drawing luxury visitors in the years to come. Happy 15th anniversary! #MarinaBaySands

Last Monday, over 80 of our Team Members huddled for a leadership lunchtime talk organised by Marina Bay Sands’ all-women employee resource group, EmpowHer. Titled ‘Leading Yourself to Thrive’, the talk was helmed by guest speaker Justine Campbell, a former clinical therapist turned executive coach. During the hour-long talk, she imparted insights and provided practical tools to help one thrive. These included ways to deepen self-awareness, recognise patterns that shape how one leads, and align personal values with professional impact, enabling one to show up more intentionally in different areas of their lives. Justine led the group through a shame resilience exercise, where each person picked a category ranging from work to personal life, and penned three to five ideal and unwanted identities. The exercise taught participants to recognise their shame triggers, enabling them to make mindful, thoughtful decisions about how they respond to shame, and ultimately lead themselves to thrive. Justine wrapped up the session with a piece of advice: “As women, support one another (in order) to see one another. We all have the basic need to feel accepted and to believe that we belong and are valued for who we are. But we also need to know ourselves, from our priorities and innate strengths to the unique gifts we bring to the table.” Following the talk, two half-day workshops were also organised for Team Members who wanted to dive deeper and learn more. These are part of the year-long engagements and events that our EmpowHer team organises for female Team Members, to allow them to grow in their career and expand their network within the integrated resort. #MarinaBaySands #EmpowHer

To mark Singapore’s 60th year of independence in 2025, we present SingaPop! 60 Years of Singapore Pop Culture, an upcoming exhibition by ArtScience Museum in collaboration with mm2 Entertainment and supported by the IMDA. Curated by Cultural Medallion recipient Dick Lee, this immersive multimedia exhibition will celebrate six decades of Singapore’s vibrant pop culture from the 1960s to the 2020s. SingaPop! explores how a young nation of diverse immigrants forged its unique cultural identity by drawing on music, fashion, film and art to create the national fabric of Singapore. “More than a trip through memory lane, SingaPop! will be a dynamic, participatory experience that invites every visitor to consider their own place in Singapore’s unfolding cultural story,” said Honor Harger, Vice President of ArtScience Museum. "Having lived through and been a part of the evolution of our cultural identity in the last 60 years, I'm proud to present this exhibition that showcases who we are: idiosyncratic, colourful and uniquely Singaporean,” said Dick Lee, Creative Director of SingaPop!. The exhibition will nurture a deeper appreciation for our nation’s rich cultural heritage, encouraging visitors to actively engage in the constantly evolving narrative of what makes up the Singaporean identity. #SG60 #MarinaBaySands #SingaPopASM #ArtScienceMuseum

Last month, our Team Members gathered at MARQUEE Singapore to celebrate our Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star accolade for The Paiza Collection. We are among four hotels in Singapore to receive this award. It was a joyous occasion and spirits were high as our senior management unveiled the Forbes Travel Guide plaque to resounding applause. We also took the chance to recognise our top frontliners through a certificate presentation, acknowledging their efforts to create world-class experiences and deliver personalised service to our guests. Earlier this week, we had another celebration to commemorate our record US$2 billion in EBITDA last year. Thank you to all 11,900 Team Members for bringing us to new heights and making the past year a spectacular one. We cannot wait to see how the rest of the year unfolds. #MarinaBaySands #ForbesTravelGuide
