Photographers used to sprint to the media center with memory cards to file a shot. 🏃🏻♂️➡️ That sprint is disappearing. Yosuke Kiyama, Head of Connected Business at Sony talks with Peter Linder about how 5G is reshaping the professional photographer’s workflow, from the field to the cloud in seconds. ⏱️ The bigger idea: speed becomes a competitive advantage. And with network APIs and network slicing, even a packed venue stops being a bottleneck. Tap into real insights from across the ecosystem: https://lnkd.in/ecg3Z7TW #Ericsson #5G #NetworkAPIs

Stockholm is our home. Hagastaden is the next chapter. A place where business meets academia and city life meets nature. Close to talent, close to research, and energized by the vibrancy of being one of Europe’s most innovative, sustainable and future-centric urban regeneration initiatives. Positioned close to universities, research institutes, startups, and decision makers, the new Ericsson Stockholm Campus will place us right in the middle of the city’s influential technology ecosystem. This will put Ericsson in a great position strategically and well as physically, to drive technology leadership and meet the challenges of the future as our industry shifts and emerging technologies grow and scale. BREAKING NEWS! Ericsson’s Stockholm operations are getting a new home. Starting in 2028, Ericsson’s Stockholm operations and people will relocate to a new campus in Hagastaden, on the northern Stockholm City boundary. The move will progress in multiple phases across several years. One of Europe’s most exciting future-centric urban regeneration initiatives, Hagastaden is a major phased infrastructure redevelopment of Stockholm’s northern perimeter. When complete, the Ericsson Campus will comprise multiple new-build premises, designed to maximize individual, collective and collaborative work and innovation. It’s going to be a big appeal to the talent of the future. The location in the physical heart of Stockholm’s academic, new-tech innovation, and academic communities - and within walking distance of key decision makers - will help to meet the challenges of the future Ericsson as industry shifts and emerging technology grow and scale. It is also going to be easy for our customers, V.I.P. guests, media, students, and the general public to come visit us, see what we do, and learn how we are changing the world. We are committed to the future. We are committed to success. And we are committed to Stockholm and Sweden. Over one million robots move packages through Amazon fulfillment centers every day. Amazon Web Services (AWS) built a small language model called Deep Fleet to keep them from colliding and to take the shortest path possible. Thereby reducing delivery times by more than 10 percent. The bigger point? 💡 When AI moves into physical operations, networks can’t be an afterthought. Deep Fleet depends on reliable and secure connectivity to enable real-time positioning of robots at scale. That’s where 5G can play a super important role. In this conversation, Ericsson’s Peter Linder sits down with Fabio Cerone from AWS for Telecom to explore how AI, cloud, and mobile networks connect, from rApps-as-a-Service on AWS to agentic AI that moves networks toward zero-touch operations. Connecting the maritime supply chain, end to end Ericsson and Net Feasa are partnering to boost real‑time maritime vessel cargo monitoring at sea – from departure to destination – with secure onboard 4G/5G connectivity powering an agentic AI‑ready data layer to enable full visibility of all smart-enabled containers on a ship. The solution combines Ericsson Radio System with Ericsson On‑Demand 5G Core as a service, integrated with Net Feasa’s Agentic Control Tower platform. Deployments are already underway globally, supporting use cases like reefer monitoring, dangerous goods handling and early heat detection. Designed to scale to thousands of assets per vessel, the approach brings carrier‑grade performance, roaming and LEO satellite backhaul to the open ocean. This is connected, intelligent shipping in action. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/enRApkuU

150 years of innovation, connection, and transformation, and now, it's all captured in one extraordinary book. Yesterday we had the privilege of celebrating the launch of "Connected", the definitive account of Ericsson's history, written by one of Sweden's most acclaimed historical authors, Gunnar Wetterberg. At Kista Open Box, Gunnar took to the stage for a fascinating panel conversation alongside CTO Erik Ekudden and former CTO Håkan Eriksson, moderated by Cecilia Atterwall, Head of Marketing. The discussion was nothing short of inspiring — from behind-the-scenes stories about the writing process to favorite moments uncovered across 150 years of reaching new horizons. What makes "Connected" so special? Wetterberg had full independence — the subject matter, tone, style and conclusions are entirely his own. The result is a rich, honest and compelling retrospective packed with historical gems, game-changing moments, and reflections from every living former CEO. “It’s going to be an agentic era.” In a recent discussion, Cecilia Atterwall and Muninder Singh Sambi, VP Product & Supply Chain, GDC at Google Cloud explore how Cloud and 5G together can unlock seamless AI-powered services at enterprise scale. Three questions they dig into: ▶️ What does a cloud-native transformation in telecom need to look like to support AI services? ▶️ As networks become more autonomous, what new capabilities and user experiences could emerge for CSPs? ▶️ How do we take ecosystem collaboration even further to accelerate use cases and new business models?
