  • "The technology is eventually going to help us save ourselves from ourselves." 😮 That was one of the many thought-provoking comments from a recent conversation with public safety leaders in Maine. It covered distracted drivers. Rural healthcare. Ambulances as connected command centers. And how technology can help first responders focus on saving lives instead of worrying about what's happening behind them on the highway. Worth a watch: https://lnkd.in/g_shKtTS

    • A group of four individuals are seated in an office setting. Behind them is an American flag and a flag with a state emblem. The setting has a banner below reading "Staying Connected on the Move: Mobile Connectivity Realities in Public Safety," featuring "theCUBE" and "From Augusta, Maine.
  • Once again, we're talking about what’s actually happening inside factories right now: more automation, more AI, more connected systems… and a growing need for networks that can keep up with all of it. We’re headed to Smart Factory Expo to talk about the role connectivity plays behind the scenes, from private 5G and industrial mobility to real-time operations and future-ready manufacturing environments. If you’ll be there, come find Eda (pictured) and the rest of the team, and let’s compare notes on where smart manufacturing is headed next. #SMW26 Show details: https://lnkd.in/gvpWXtJx

  • Port Nelson had an operations problem. Warehouse layouts and block storage were making Wi-Fi unreliable, which meant inventory scanners were inconsistent, coverage was unpredictable, and operations slowed down with double and triple handling of goods. ➔ Private 5G changed that. Working with Spark New Zealand and Ericsson, Port Nelson Limited deployed a private network designed for mobility, reliability, and scale. It supports everything from real-time safety alerts to future automation initiatives like drones, computer vision, and digital twins. One of the more interesting parts of this story is that the network wasn’t treated as “IT infrastructure.” It is part of the operational strategy. Reagan Pattison and Ian Ross dove deeper into the journey at this week's Nelson Tech Symposium. More on the deployment: https://lnkd.in/gNqFjARs

    • Reagan Pattison from Port Nelson and Ian Ross from Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions present a private 5G deployment case study at an industry symposium. The presentation explains how Port Nelson replaced unreliable warehouse Wi-Fi with a secure private 5G network to improve inventory scanning, mobility, operational efficiency, and real-time connectivity across port facilities.
  • Big congrats to Linda Hutchinson for being named a Women of the Channel Power 100. 👏 CRN highlights leaders who are shaping the future through bold ideas, strong partnerships, and a relentless focus on partner success. Linda exemplifies all of the above. Her leadership continues to strengthen our partner ecosystem and helps ensure our partners have the tools, support, and strategy they need to grow and deliver exceptional outcomes for customers. We’re also proud to celebrate Jackie Anderson and Julie Hens, who were recognized on CRN's Women of the Channel list. Congratulations to all three on this well-deserved honor! #WomenOfTheChannel #WOTC

  • This is what downtime looks like. 🔥💸 For many businesses, losing connectivity goes beyond inconvenience; it’s downright expensive. Our new Ericsson Cradlepoint W2255 is built for that reality: faster failover, multi-slice 5G, and connectivity you can rely on when it matters most. See why Wireless WAN is foundational: https://lnkd.in/gieeRP_g

  • We have partnered with Axon to deliver a FedRAMP High authorized solution for in-vehicle connectivity, supporting Fleet 3 and beyond. This means agencies can: • Run mission-critical applications like in-car video with confidence • Meet strict federal security requirements • Deploy and manage fleet connectivity at scale As operations become more mobile and data-driven, the network has to keep up — securely. Available now for PoCs and demos: https://lnkd.in/gV8B7dSU

  • Behind every strong enterprise network is a group of people who know how to build, deploy, and support it in the real world. 💪 We're recognizing a group of partners who have reached Mountaineer Level 3 — the highest level in the program. 👏 This not a checkbox type of certification. This is earned through real scenarios, live presentations, and the ability to apply these solutions in complex environments. Across sales, pre-sales, support, and marketing, these partners have demonstrated what it takes to move from knowledge to execution. And that matters! Because the environments our customers operate in don’t leave room for guesswork. Congrats to everyone featured here. Well deserved! 🙌

  • About 50 customers joined us last night at #OTC2026. What came up again and again: as energy operations spread out, the network can’t be an afterthought anymore. 🔹 AI is moving into day-to-day operations 🔹 Edge is where decisions are happening 🔹 Connectivity has to work every time, as it’s part of the operation now Appreciate the conversation with Vincent Higgins (RuggedEdge AI), Justin West (Rockwell Automation), Sameer Shah (Bechtel Corporation), and Matt Bertram (Oil and Gas Global Network & ModalPoint), with our very own James Kirby hosting. We’re at booth 3407 if you want to keep the conversation going.
