+ FollowFAW Group, or China FAW, is a Chinese state-owned automaker headquartered in Changchun, Jilin province. Founded in 1953 as China's first automaker, the group is best known for its premium Hongqi brand — China's most prestigious car marque, long used as the official state limousine — alongside the Bestune brand and major joint ventures with Volkswagen, Audi and Toyota.
