BYD (HKEX: 1211, OTC: BYDDY) is a Chinese new energy vehicle maker founded in 1995 by Wang Chuanfu and headquartered in Shenzhen. The world's largest NEV maker, BYD sells both battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) under its Dynasty and Ocean series, as well as the premium brands Denza, Fang Cheng Bao and Yangwang.

BYD began as a battery maker and remains one of the most vertically integrated players in the industry, producing its own batteries, semiconductors and most key components.

The company is known for its Blade Battery and DM hybrid technology, and in 2022 it became the world's first major automaker to stop producing fossil fuel-only vehicles. BYD is also expanding aggressively overseas, with exports and local production across Europe, Southeast Asia and Latin America.

This page tracks BYD's monthly sales, exports, financial results, and latest news.
