Our commitment
CnEVPost is committed to accuracy in its reporting. We recognize that coverage involving the operations and financial information of publicly traded companies may be used by readers as a reference for investment decisions, and that factual errors can have real-world consequences. We therefore apply one standard when dealing with errors: correct them promptly, clearly and fully, and never make substantive corrections silently.
Our corrections practices are based on industry standards followed by international news agencies such as Reuters. We do not conceal errors or erase them through unmarked silent edits. Every substantive correction leaves a public and traceable record.
When we publish a correction
When a published article contains a factual error — including, but not limited to, incorrect data such as sales, deliveries, financial figures or stock prices; incorrect names or job titles; incorrect dates or times; mischaracterization of an event, such as describing something planned as having already occurred; or incorrectly attributed quotations — we will correct the article as soon as possible and add a correction notice at the end of the article stating:
- What was corrected, including the incorrect original information and the correct information;
- The date of the correction.
Our standard correction notice is:
Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that [incorrect information] was [X]. It was [Y]. The article has been corrected.
For significant errors that could affect readers' investment decisions — such as incorrect key financial data or inaccurate reporting of a transaction or regulatory event — the correction notice will also be placed prominently at the beginning of the article. We will also assess whether the headline should be marked with the word "Correction."
Correction, update and clarification
Correction: A correction fixes a factual error that existed at the time of publication. A public correction notice is included.
Update: An update is made when an event develops further or when new information becomes available and is added to the article. This does not mean the original reporting was incorrect. We will indicate the update time and what has been added, such as “Update: Added company response.” Information that was accurate when published but later became outdated because of subsequent developments is treated as an update, not a correction.
Clarification: A clarification is made when the original reporting was factually accurate but the wording could have been ambiguous or open to misinterpretation. We will revise the wording and include a clarification notice.
Withdrawal/Retraction: In rare cases where the fundamental factual basis of an article is found to be invalid, we will withdraw the entire article. The original URL will remain accessible with an explanation of why the article was withdrawn. We will not silently delete it.
Changes that do not constitute corrections
The following changes do not require a correction notice: fixing typographical errors, punctuation, formatting or grammar; editing wording without changing its meaning; repairing links; or replacing images when no factual representation is affected.
Corrections to distributed content
If incorrect information has also been distributed through our social media accounts, such as X or news aggregation platforms, we will, where practicable, publish a correction through the same channel.
If the content has been republished by third parties, we will correct the article on our own platforms and provide correction information to republishing organizations if they contact us.
How to report an error

Please include the article URL, the information you believe is incorrect, and supporting evidence where possible, such as an official announcement or a link to the original financial report.
We will review reports of factual errors within 2 hours of seeing them. If we confirm that an error has occurred, we will correct it immediately in accordance with the procedures described above. We will respond to the person who reported the issue regardless of the outcome of our review.
