Changan Automobile (SZSE: 000625) is a Chinese state-owned automaker headquartered in Chongqing, with roots dating back to 1862, making it one of China's oldest industrial enterprises. The group sells new energy vehicles under three brands: Deepal, the premium Avatr brand — backed by Huawei and battery giant CATL — and Changan Nevo, alongside its traditional Changan-branded gasoline vehicles.

Changan also operates long-running joint ventures with Ford and Mazda, and is expanding overseas with localized production in Southeast Asia. The company has set aggressive electrification targets as it shifts its portfolio from gasoline vehicles toward NEVs.
