AI is not a future discussion. It is already reshaping how networks are built and operated. 🌐 In our latest Beyond the Buzzwords episode, Elena Fersman and Mårten Lerner look at AI through two lenses. 👇 1️⃣ Networks for AI are about high-performing, programmable infrastructure that can support AI driven applications at scale, with a shift toward uplink-heavy traffic, consistent low latency enabled by edge data centers and local breakout, and device density that pushes simultaneous connections to new levels. 2️⃣ AI for networks is how intent-driven networks move operations toward autonomy, where operators define an outcome, the network interprets and optimizes in real time, and AI runs where it delivers the most value across RAN, transport, core, BSS, and OSS. Based on more than 15 AI-native deployments and trials, results show: 📈 up to 20 percent higher throughput 📈 10 percent better spectral efficiency 📈 14 percent energy savings With Ericsson silicon on our Many Core Architecture delivering microsecond-level AI inference and strong energy efficiency, and an approach grounded in security, trust, privacy, openness, and standardization, we are building networks ready for the demands of AI applications today and tomorrow. Tune in to hear Elena and Mårten explain why the networks we build now will determine how AI scales next: https://lnkd.in/ehzQnB8f #AI #BeyondTheBuzzwords #Ericsson #5GStandalone #Connectivity
