Another year, another almost exactly same watch spec-wise. I am really unsure who except for people replacing broken hardware buys them anymore. I had watch 5 pro that died this year and every samsung watch just felt like a reluctant sidegrade. So glad I didnt wait for this "groundbreaking innovation" and bought venu 4 its a little clunkier but more smooth and battey life is 5 times better...
Apple / Samsung watches just stagnate, we have more energy efficient chips and more energy dense batteries but they still cant last a weekend trip without charger...

I always expected an aggressive endurance mode to really limit some smart functions to add 6-7 days of battery life. Ticwatch has wearOS and an endurance mode to last 2 weeks

That battery life is just sad. It's not even the battery being small, it's just so badly optimised even compared to previous Samsung models.

i notice the review declines to comment on the LTE functionality. other reviews of older Samsung watches with LTE describe them as unreliable for phone calls, overheating within 5 minutes in temperate weather. phone calls are a primary reason i even consider smartwatches...ditching the megaphone..
without any mention, i gotta assume they still suck at phonecalls.

So, one might put their watch on the charger, sleep with a ring instead, wake up, take the ring off, and put the watch back on. Samsung is the only major brand that manufactures both watches and a ring that work with a single app.

AOD on Samsung watches freezes the time, so it does not refresh. It's not fixed for over a year now.
So, they make smartwatches which doesn't show time, and they want me to buy the new one...?

What a disappointment. New chipset, larger battery, same terrible battery life.
Snapdragon Wear Elite is a disappointment.
