Honestly w7 , w8 , w9 all are the same , same sensors just software limitations and mediocre optimization
Put in 600 mah and still it struggles to last 2 days 😪

For one, they tested the 40mm Watch 9 with 390mAh battery, that Oppo is larger and has 500mAh battery.
And it uses dual chip design, BES2700BP low power chip is why it lasts so long, and that was my reason back then to get one too.

zz, 14 Aug 2026I see no reason to buy this watch. And it is pricey. Most people have this watch because it came in the preorder bonus, and they're not even gonna bother. A bunch of them are going to the used market for discounted prices.

Is it really that surprising a watch running WearOS with smaller battery than the Watch 2 Ultra has shorter battery life?
Common sense
Those that want good battery life shouldnt look at WearOS, it is too heavy for its own good.
