apart from someone who NEEDS the fan, this is an absolute scam. Unlike the ROG 7 and earlier phones, redmagic phones dont even have great speakers. Tuned like megaphones from the 1930s, heck maybe those are even better.
And for anyone citing the stress test performance as a win, please take a look at the temps and tell me if a human is supposed to hold it for an extended period of time.

That one uses Dimensity 9500s! Although not as powerful as the Snapdragon It's clearly not a midrange SoC.
BTW Redmagic's cooling is not that good as sustained performance showed. That fan is useless.

IQoo's and Xiaomi's implementation cant even sustained performance for prolonged gaming sessions like how Redmagic's approach does it even in several hours of gaming.

DM8500 cant run heavy emulation like PC games, run all Switch games like Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, PS3, or the new X360 emulator for Xbox360 since its even weaker on a Snapdragon 8Gen3.
Midrange are midrange and Poco doesnt even have proper cooling system like Redmagic devices. They're good as a midrange average phone but not a true gaming phone like how Redmagic performs.

Sur... moreMost of the work load AI does is to "transform" the text. That's what the T stands in chatGPT. Transformer.
Essebrislly, it means that 85-90% of the computation is spend on understanding the context of a sentence.
Consider these two sentences:
Please give me a pencil.
I want you to please me.
Please means two different things here.
The AI has no way of knowing which "please" you meant, besides scanning literally every word in that sentence by itself, and comparing it to billions of other examples. This is the process that takes up most of the computation of a prompt.
My guess is that since Chinese has even more intricate language, it's harder. Especially for phone apps and setting names. Why?
Think to the prior example. The ai has many words in that sentence to analyze and get the context. For settings options and app labels, the "sentence' is often one to two words. "Battery utilization", "screen time", etc. The access to examples it has to comwore stays the same, but there aren't enough words in the template it's comparing two.
Those are just my two cents anyways

Legit, why would you ever get this phone over the Poco x8 pro max?
The Poco x8 pro max has a better battery, same charging end speed and even better speakers. At half the price.
Are there really that many SEA and indian middle upper class teenagers who salivate for the neglible performance gains?
Seriously, what games could you have that would justify this over a Poco x8 pro max? And even then.. is phone gaming and a cool back, really that important to you?

Could you take a look at the iQOO 15 Ultra? It would be an interesting value proposition, given that its cameras are actually very good on paper as far as gaming phones go.

Seen multiple AI translated games that someone are worse than ones using machine translation.
