GSMArena are big Vivo glaciers😂😂, this phone blows the Vivo X300 Ultra away in every category, yet GSMArena is already confirmed the X300 Ultra will have the better camera system, talk about clowns.

There are so many phones which only show poor heat management during benchmarks, but do not heat up that much in real world games, apps or other tasks,

It's not so bad being European.

it has a max CPU clock of 4.6Ghz
it has a max GPU clock of 1200Mhz
if the GPU is clocked at 1200Mhz but using 600, it's at 50% utilization and 50% total utilization
if the GPU is clocked at 600Mhz and using 300, it's at 50% utilization and 25% total utilization
if you look at the GSM 3dmark bench you can see that the GPU goes to 100% utilization on the first minute loop and then sticks around at 70-80% before it starts to throttle jumping sporadically between 40-60% utilization.
You can tweak the software to utilize the GPU better so it stays stable for longer although it won't have that initial high utilization for the first 10 minutes
you could easily keep that 60% for like 30 minutes if you started there right away.
Of course that is for tasks that demand that GPU power for prolonged sets of time.
at that 40% total utilization the GPU draws about 4 watts while the display draws about 1-3 watts depending on the brightness.

Anyways, battery saving mode is nice but it's still a cope, a phone should run perfectly fine without bottlenecks and one should choose battery saving mode because they want to, not because they have to.
If one wants to save in power needs, then lowering the brightness is the way to go as the display requires loads of power at higher brightness levels (especially outdoors) and generates heat. That's just how it is man, you can't fight physics, more demanding tasks require more power and power = heat.

Like what are you even yapping about mate do you even know what you're talking about? If a phone gives 60% of its power, it's going to be giving 60% of its performance or the performance you'd get for that amount of power, meaning brightness would still be cut as displays take a lot of power to run.

Oddly enough, I also prefer the new HyperOS 3 over ColorOS 16.
Previously, the Find X7 Ultra, leveraging its fully natural and organic Hi-Res (25MP Auto) mode, could easily outperform even GCam in terms of detail. However, the current Hi-Res mode (28MP Auto, the HD mode is even worse) now relies on AI hallucinations, smearing, and smoothing, resulting in fewer details than its own 12MP mode. Only the 3x lens looks okay @ 28MP (or it's just that 3x 12MP is terrible, idk)
OPPO really needs to redeem itself with software updates but knowing how they've abandoned the X7U and X8U - I wouldn't count on that.

We knew for years, yet samsung ignored us, now look how ridiculous s26u looks with its 10mp 1/4" 3x compared to this one's 200mp 1/1.28" 3x.

In Spain, the 12,512 version only comes in 2 colors and the box is empty, 1,700 euros, hahaha, dead on arrival...

Modern processors are super fast, they don't make you notice the performance hit during daily day to day basic tasks or even certain heavy tasks for that matter, when in battery saving mode.
