It's a great device, I've had it since release and I've used it for movies and so on but its god like for emulation.
That's why I use it and it is amazing at that specifically

Great tablet! Bought the 16gb/512gb and it is amazing for gaming (Genshin, Star Rail) can confirm only the official charger will charge at 80w because of a weird custom PPS profile (normal usb C chargers have a 5A cap), the 80W uses a 7.25A cap

Owner of RedMagic 9 Pro previously and now RedMagic 10S Pro and Astra here.
I can confirm while these devices are good at what they're made to do which is gaming, other parts still need some attention.
Software or the OS is the main highlight here. To this day, there's still bad translations of certain aspects of the system and the overall OS really is janky. On RM10S, the music/media function in the top panel shortcuts isn't even detecting what's currently playing (Android 15), OnePlus 12 with same Android version works well without issues. RedMagic spent a lot on the hardware and performance but when it comes to user experience, UI, and customization of stock OS, it really is quite limiting.
On older ROG 6D, that thing at least offers good daily usage experience, not just gaming. And I'm not talking about camera since these are gaming-centric phones.

IPad never stood any chance cos of the usage time.
U could literally charge and be ready to use again in just 30mins to 1hr but iPad charges to max at least 1.5hrs.

The solution is simple: just lower the clock speeds. It won't be able to fool uninformed consumers if it does that, though. What is the use case to use the full power of an SoC for only about 10 minutes?
