Have been a Samsung user from 2016 and never changes brand first Samsung J7 2016 then Samsung Note 10 in 2019 and after that Samsung S22+ in 2022 but this time in 2026 December I changed the brand and went for Oneplus with Oneplus 15 after using it I felt in love with it but this is shocking for me that the brand is shutting down because I love this device and planned to change it to Oneplus again in future, I change phone 3-4 years from the last one 4 years mainly. I feel sad now.
Still not surprised
Proves how Andriod market is so saturated and competitive.
OnePlus is good but always doubted it being bit overpriced can anymore attract customers from Vivo, Realme, Honor and Xiaomi or not. With how OnePlus lacks remarkable innovate breakthrough new adds. Nevertheless after all OnePlus is still under Oppo, so never getting close to Oppo itself's sales or even exceed is normal
80085, 14 Jul 2026this sucks big time for eu users; from what we know so far oppo will move to fill the gap left... moreBut nobody forces you to buy oppo products...
Nikojas, 14 Jul 2026 Most people in Europe and US buy a phone through a carrier with a Monthly installment and One... moreThey were available through tmobile in usa with installments.
Oppo is nothing without OnePlus. 1+
My first Oneplus phone was a Oneplus7, i still have it with me and its in working condition. The only issue is with the battery. Here in my hometown in India, I've been told by the service center guys that they dont have any spare battery for the phone, since it reached its EOL. Sad, that we wont be getting Oxygen OS anymore.
This Oppo ruins everything or the company in charge for oppo.
Oneoplus been amazing great devices afordable pricing and an oxygen OS which was close to stock android.
In other words perfect phone for charming prices.
Now they are gone.
Sad so sad.
No words for that.
I have never used one plus.
But every tech death is a painful event.
Stay alive one plus..
Of this is true then it makes me angry. First OnePlus an 8Pro and now a 12. I've no idea where I will go next, I certainly don't feel like I want to reward the companies that monopolise the market, back in the day I was a big HTC user and supporter, I e almost always supported the underdog and almost always been disappointed with legacy manufacturers offerings.
I've heard about OnePlus but never invested in it. Guess it was just their time.
Anonymous, 14 Jul 2026I remember buying the first OnePlus with the sandstone finish. Still loving my OnePlus 13, was... moreYour OnePlus 13 is a superior phone to the 15R.
When I bought my OnePlus 12 and started using it, I knew I'll do it until the support is finished. And thinking I'll buy a new model after that, like OnePlus 20 or something. And now what? It's the first phone I really like. It's not about that it won't be available in Europe or US. It's about there will be no more flagship phones from them. That's not fair, not fair.
MakeMotoBetterAgain, 14 Jul 2026we all gonna have to boycott oppo for buying brands just to kill them. They didn't buy OnePlus, they were always behind it, but I agree that they shouldn't have intentionally ruined it.
notafanboy, 14 Jul 2026This is very bad for the US market. In Europe, we still have Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi. But in the US... moretrump banning everything for the sake of apple....🤣
what a coincidence, my OnePlus One finally died this year. It was nice 12+ years on single device
MakeMotoBetterAgain, 14 Jul 2026we all gonna have to boycott oppo for buying brands just to kill them. Buying? Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Oneplus and iQoo are all part of BBK electronics. Just corporate restructuring.
Damn, so this is how Huawei fans felt like in 2019?
I don't really care about 1+ since i never bought any of their phones but it was fun watching how yet another phone brand vanishes in this monopolized market
