The best deal for a Oppo x9 ultra was £1300 with a watch, earbuds, 2 year sim contract
With a s26 ultra with a watch and the earbuds 4 pro witha 2 year sim contract was £930, and if i gave in my older samsung they would have removed another £250 off.
It aint even close, samsungs are £300 ish cheaper, have the best UI, software updates for 7 years. They not going anywhere even if people on here love to complain LOL

Some of it can be useful, sure, but then you look at Xiaomi or OnePlus and they seem very appealing with their big batteries. The lack of updates, high prices, limited accessories, and service restrictions (at least in Eastern Europe) are why I’m still stuck with Samsung. At this point, most of my tech is Samsung anyway lol.

Asia is N... moreIt's just a matter of time in India as OnePlus market share has gone down big time over the last 2 years and with the OnePlus indian CEO resigning or pushed within a year OnePlus will pull out of India , as they have with the UK , EU and US markets and OnePlus is not scaling back in the UK , EU and US they are completely leaving 👍
OnePlus holds approximately 1.8% to 2.4% of the overall Indian smartphone market and is going down every year , so it's just a matter of time before OnePlus leave India

You get what you pay for, at least i know if i buy a samsung or apple device they be updated for 5-7 years, get more features by the end of the device life cycle.
Its fine and dandy having 7000mah batteries and 100 watt charging but if they dont update software after a year or 2 then i stick to other brands.

One reason I would not of bought anything from OnePlus in 2026 it was obvious what was happening I have to admit I went with the Oppo Find X9 Pro when I upgraded my phone and not the OnePlus 15

Rip loved it because could import global flashed CN for much cheaper, maybe as it still sold for china and India, CN flashed to indian coloros possible here's hoping which should be friendly to use

Proves how Andriod market is so saturated and competitive.
OnePlus is go... moreThe whole problem arose when they raised the prices to the level of flagships with a worse camera and bugs in the Android overlay.
The problem was made worse by the fact that I never saw any OnePlus advertisement from the beginning when these phones were available in my country, so to this day no one knows about their existence and when they hear OnePlus, they think about China random trash or some vacuum cleaners lol.
Word-of-mouth advertising or good reviews work when the price doesn't suddenly rise and people don't risk investing blindly.
They could have built trust longer like Xiaomi did or taken a minimal margin to accustom people to the fact that their products are good.
Instead, they wanted a quick profit and delivered an average product through a weak Android overlay no dedicated app or good camera.
The enthusiast didn't care about any of these things because we could flash any ROM and we only cared about good hardware, but to reach the masses, a phone at this price has to be complete from the opening of box

I will do the same in my o+13 because it is unknown what will happen with hardware prices in the coming years.
For many of us, the privilege of spending money on gadgets ended last year due to these price increases 💀
