Majority of... moreYes, because talking about Samsung, a company that is expereincing even fewer cases of incidents, would definitely help Sony look a lot better lol. It's also worth mentioning that phone explosions could also be caused by faulty or non-standard-compliant chargers, and not strictly due to an issue with phones' internal circuit designs.
A bunch of phone manufacturers rely on outsourcing to produce their products. Sony screwed it up. Stop evading and just admit it already.

Nicklename, 08 Jul 2025I'd buy this phone just for the headphone jack, but now I have to wait.Get an older LG Flagship phone if you're after High Quality Sounds from 3.5mm audio. Only LG uses a Dedicated DAC sony is just using generic soc dac.

It is a famous fault in Japanese sets i have f51 a but it shuts off some time i dial the number lock everything else is ok

That's really dissapointing from Sony, better stop the production; this Episodes are just continuing.
My first smartphone was in 2009, and it was Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo (I was super satisfied, no issues at all), after four years my 2nd phone was Sony Xperia Z5 (issues with battery draining even when phone was not in use, then afer a month I fixed it). My third phone was again a Sony Xperia XZ3, with that not any issues. After that my fourth was Xperia 1 IV, and then it was totally disaster, issues with Network coverage, issues with 5G, and because I live in Prishtina, my closest Sony warranty Operator was in Sofia, or Athens, so I sold it for 100 euros. Now after 16 years of being a Sony Xperia user, unfortunately I am on another phone manufacturer.
