It has been on lots of stuff that doesn't necessarily have to do with the console. Also this will run a special, optimized version of Windows. No clue how that is "lazy" to you.

So you can download them on PC, if... moreLess that 10% of Xbox games are Xbox Play Anyway games, and most of them are indie games. If you own Xbox Series X games that aren't Xbox Play Anywhere games and want to play them on this device, you have to buy them again. Compatibility issues aside, an Xbox Series X handheld console will play every digital Xbox games you own. It may be technically possible in about 3 years.

So you can download them on PC, if they also exist for PC in the store. That won't be everything but obviously it isn't a mobile Xbox, that simply would not be possible and every single console game would have to be downgraded significantly to run.

OSasmatteroffact, 10 Jun 2025seriously the design is trying to copy the PS portal but its actually ugly, I like the old All... more8" would have been nice. The price of the Asus ROG Xbox Ally X will probably be about $1,000 or higher. Maybe after Asus sees the sales number of the Nintendo Switch 2, it'll copy Nintendo by releasing a device with a bigger screen.

seriously the design is trying to copy the PS portal but its actually ugly, I like the old Ally X design better, but Asus didnt upgrade the screen, 8" should be the bare minimum. also aside from the chipset everything else is just the same as the predecessor, and since the Z2A is not even worth considering as its too weak to even called as a gaming chip for PC standard, the Z2E would be the only option but price wise we can see its going crazy as all the soc with RDNA 3.5 from AMD has always been crazily high priced, the MSI claw 8 AI+ would still be a good option I suppose

Sometimes, I tired playing serious AAA games and wants to get relaxed, nintendo do helps me with Mario and friends.
The only problem is that the games bit more expensive than other platforms.

It helped give birth to one of the most successful consoles in history, though. The Nintendo Switch wouldn't have existed if the Wii U had been a success.

For example, if you play games in TV mode 84% of the time, you are a primary TV mode user. Hybrid means play time in neither mode exceeds 80%. It could be 50/50, 60/40, 70/30, etc. If you play games in handheld mode 99% of the time and only try playing games in TV mode 1% of the time, you are a primary handheld mode user, not a hybrid user.

It's like phone I can connect it to tv via type C dongle does that mean am hybrid first? No I just connect it because I can, like 99% of my use case is handheld.
If you have hours data on how much they spent handheld vs Docked then we would have better idea.
