Of course it wouldn't have been a global hit. The survey stated 'I want one' rather than 'I will buy one'. Who wouldn't want the phone if they are a fan of phones. Vivo would have launched this globally if they thought it had any chance of being a global hit at a price of €1,500. The reality is they know it won't sell enough at full price to make it worth it. They'd end up having to reduce the price and it wouldn't be worth their while then. A great camera phone no doubt but that doesn't always translate into sales. Whoever designs these survey questions really needs to think about the questions they ask. They are shockingly bad

Well since Vivo flagship been released only for china and its global availability is zero nobody outside china cares and nobody wants chinese phone with chinese OS and language inside.
for the X200s is to small and thus too useless in terms of specs and being a proper flagship. Good only for small chinese people which average size is enough to carry this phone not something bigger and better like for example Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

Apple, htc, asus,... moreThe round camera bump looks good, it reminds me of a DSLR camera lens. The X200 Ultra camera bump may protrude too far but it's still not as prounced as the camera lens on an actual camera. And if the quality of the photo is the same as what you would get out of a small mirrorless, then I think it's a good sacrifice.
And, no, those brands you mentioned doesn't come close in camera quality to the X200 Ultra.

Built-in hdr function, that no brand enables, cannot help. Only a certain fanboy here believes it can.
818 is still exmor RS. It does not have FWC any near the 900's.
Be ready, latest rumor says oppo is gonna do same. While xiaomi will keep type1.0 but from omnivision instead.

Like if there is a Zeiss lens system on all 3 lenses, great test results as proof, that is worth it for some buyers and it surpasses other offerings in that area.

My only wish are more 1" sensors on a phone with this kind of quality.

No 1" inch sensor was a bad decision.
Also every flagship ultra models have a flat display except Vivo X200 Ultra.
I hope they will make up for it in X300 Ultra.

I am using x200 pro and i have felt vivo needs to work on a few things. One of which is the light sensor. It is pretty annoying at times. And the edge screen is an attraction for a lot of people but having used an s24 ultra simultaneously, i feel its like waste of screen. And it is hard to get hands on an aftermarket screen protector. Flat one would have been a lot better and productive. As far as the availability of the x200 ultra is concerned, i would have definitely bought one if it were available here.

The minor tech differences can't compensate the substantial difference in pixel size. To put things into perspective, a 1" is double in size compare to a 1/1.41" sensor.

In reality, nobody's buying these ultra Chinese phones. Vivo as a business must consider the cost versus the revenue they would get. This is basically a showcase product, just to show what Vivo can do. Even in China, it's not produced in volume.

Everyone has his own... morei just wish Vivo had better battery life, i think thermals can be ignored if everything else is good enough but battery imo is the MOST important aspect of a phone and Vivo's been disappointing with its Ultras for 2 years now for some reason.
Their Pro models have the best battery life of any non-gaming/non-gimmick phone yet their Ultra models fall behind even other Ultras. It just doesnt make sense to me.
They had decent battery life alongside super fast charging with the X90 Pro+ back in the day so it's all even MORE confusing lol
