Huawei Mate 90 lands as the base phone in the Mate 90 stack, launched alongside the Pro, Pro Max, and RS Ultimate. Where a lot of base flagships skip a proper zoom lens, this one keeps a 50 MP telephoto with 4x optical zoom and OIS, so you are not pushed straight into the Pro models just for reach.
Kunlun Glass 3 sits on the front, with an aluminum frame and a glass-fiber reinforced plastic back. The phone measures 161.9 x 75.7 x 8 mm and weighs 217 g, with IP68/IP69 for dust, high-pressure jets, and immersion up to 6m for 30 minutes. Color options are Black, White, Green, and Pink.
Unlock is Face ID or the side fingerprint sensor. Wireless charging hits 50W, and reverse wireless plus 5W reverse wired are available too, along with an infrared port. BDS satellite calling and messaging is listed for China.

Huawei Mate 90 Price in Nigeria
The Mate 90 goes for about 1,191,000 Naira (897 USD). That is the entry ticket into the Mate 90 stack before you step up for dual-layer panels, faster wired charging, or the RS camera kit.
The Vivo iQOO 16 5G is another solid pick for an alternative in this category. Additionally, Tecno’s Camon 50 Ultra 5G and the Xiaomi Poco X8 Power 5G are two great options to consider.
