Camon 50 Ultra is Tecno’s camera flagship in this batch: glass front and back with Gorilla Glass 7i, plastic frame, IP68/IP69K, MIL-STD-810H claims, and an under-display optical fingerprint. Moonshadow Black, Cypress Green, Nebula Titanium, Luminous Orange, and Misty Purple fill the color list on a 178g, 7.8mm body.
The 6.78-inch AMOLED runs 144Hz with HDR10 behind that glass, fed by a Dimensity 7400 Ultimate on Android 16 / HIOS 16 with three major OS updates promised. Memory reaches 12GB RAM and 512GB storage (UFS, no microSD). Stereo Dolby Atmos speakers, NFC, infrared, and optional eSIM (max two SIMs active) round it out.

For display, Camon 50 Ultra 5G comes with a 6.78 inches AMOLED display screen, 144Hz max refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM max refresh rate with a resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels and a density of around 429 pixels per-square inch.
The smartphone houses the Mediatek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate (4 nm) chipset with Octa-core (4×2.6 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU under the hood. Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G is running the Android 16 customized with HIOS 16 interface pre-installed topped with up to 3 major OS updates skin pre-installed.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G shipped in 8GB and 12GB – UFS RAM variants, paired with either 256GB or 512GB ROM for internal storage space. No option for increasing the storage via microSD card slot on the device.
Video is the Ultra’s flex: 4K at 30fps on the rear triple, plus 4K at 30/60fps on the 50MP front. 1080p at 60fps covers smoother social clips when you do not need the 4K bitrate.
Still photography stacks a 50MP OIS wide, 50MP 3x telephoto, and 8MP ultrawide with Dual-LED flash, HDR, and panorama. Portraits and zoomed product shots are why this SKU exists; daylight is the comfort zone, and the telephoto is the differentiator versus plain Camon 50.
The listing gives 6,160mAh or 6,500mAh depending on region, both with 45W wired charging. Endurance is strong for a bright AMOLED; wattage is mid, not flash-charge.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G Price in Nigeria
About 39,998 rupees on the source’s sheet lands near 720,000 Naira before local markup. That is top-Camon money in Nigeria, so only pay it if you want the telephoto and 4K selfie package.
Camon 50 Pro keeps the triple camera and Dimensity 7400 Ultimate with a simpler feature cut. Pova 8 Pro prioritizes peak brightness and bypass charging over the telephoto. Camon 50 Pro 4G is cheaper if you do not need 5G. For other options, the Oppo Reno16 Pro, X80 Pro Max, and Vivo iQOO 15 remain worth considering.
