Samsung has put the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ on sale worldwide. Both tablets share MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, ship with Android 17 and One UI 9, and come with an S Pen plus IP68 dust and water resistance.
US pricing opens at $1,199 for the Tab S12+ and $1,399 for the Tab S12 Ultra. Europe lists Wi-Fi and 5G configs from €1,299 for the S12+ Wi-Fi 256GB upward.
The Ultra is the larger of the two. It uses a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel at 2960×1848 and 120Hz, with peak brightness listed at 1,600 nits and 1,000 nits HBM. The battery is 11,600mAh with 45W charging. Cameras are a 13MP + 8MP ultra-wide pair on the rear and a 12MP ultra-wide up front. Connectivity covers pSIM + eSIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0. Size is 208.5 × 326.3 × 5.1mm, at 692g (Wi-Fi) or 695g (5G).
The S12+ steps down to a 12.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X at 2800×1752. It keeps the same 120Hz refresh and brightness figures. Battery is 10,600mAh with 45W charging. The rear camera is a single 13MP unit, with a 12MP ultra-wide on the front. It keeps 5G, moves to Wi-Fi 6E, and uses Bluetooth 6.0. Size is 187.8 × 289.5 × 5.3mm, at 553g (Wi-Fi) or 555g (5G).
Shared kit includes quad speakers with 4-channel Spatial Audio, a microSD slot, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Colours are Gray and Silver.
Europe SKUs for the S12+ Wi-Fi sit at €1,299 / €1,499 for 256GB / 512GB, with 5G at €1,449 / €1,649. Ultra Wi-Fi runs €1,539 / €1,739 / €2,139 for 256GB / 512GB / 1TB, and Ultra 5G runs €1,689 / €1,889 / €2,289 for the same storage steps.
Peers include the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S11, Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, and Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro. Nigeria pricing will follow once local SKUs land.
