🤝 REALM_EU × SurikaS: Advancing #trustworthy #AI through structured impact assessment    🔷 Within the REALM project, #SurikaS supports project demonstrators in maturing their solutions from a #risk, #ethics, and #impact perspective — turning trustworthy #AI principles into practical assessment steps.    🔍 What this looks like in practice  REALM demonstrators are invited to #share relevant technical and project #documentation (e.g., architecture descriptions, data sources, model details, and governance processes) through a structured request process. Based on the material received, #SurikaS and partners perform an initial #assessment using #ImpactRadar in combination with the SurikaS framework, followed by an iterative feedback cycle.    🔁 From assessment to #improvement  The goal is not a one-off evaluation, but #progressive strengthening of demonstrators’ solutions — with each iteration helping address key principles such as:  👉 #Bias & fairness  👉 #Transparency  👉 #Explainability    🔶 By combining #ImpactRadar’s analytical capabilities with SurikaS’s risk-oriented assessment approach, REALM supports demonstrators in evolving toward more #robust, #accountable, and #trustworthy AI systems — aligned with European values and policy expectations.    🔗 https://lnkd.in/eYqP7T7N 🔗 https://realm-ai.eu/   #REALMproject #SurikaS #ImpactRadar #TrustworthyAI #AIethics #AIgovernance #HorizonEurope #ResponsibleInnovation

Excited to be speaking at the Building Digital Twin International Congress 2026, where I’ll dive into something I care deeply about: how we actually make cross-domain digital twins work at scale across Europe. From HPC infrastructures to human digital twins and beyond, the real challenge (and opportunity) is connecting domains, aligning standards, and building systems that don’t just work in isolation—but together, not competing for (scarce) resources but orchestrated together for optimal performance. If you’re curious about the intersection of AI, regulation, and large-scale digital twin deployment, this should be a fun one. Grateful for the invitation and looking forward to the discussions! We are pleased to welcome Gokhan Ertaylan as a speaker at the Building Digital Twin International Congress 2026. Gokhan Ertaylan will share perspectives on HPC infrastructures and their role in scaling digital twin applications, offering insights into the technological foundations needed to support advanced and high-impact digital twin systems. His work on digital twins of humans focuses on creating virtual models that can simulate and predict health outcomes, thereby supporting improved prevention, detection, and treatment strategies. In parallel, his team works on the development of regulatory frameworks for medical and AI-driven software, with the aim of ensuring transparency, standardisation, safety, and efficacy for all stakeholders. He is also deeply interested in extending the potential of digital twinning beyond healthcare to other domains, contributing to broader discussions on the future of digital twin applications. We look forward to his contribution at BDTIC 2026. Find more information here: https://lnkd.in/e4zREm8Q Book your tickets directly here: https://lnkd.in/ezQQDJB8
