A Place With No Stress

A Place With No Stress

I love cemeteries!

I know that sounds weird.

Every time we visit a different city or country and pass by a cemetery, I either take a peak inside or sit down on a bench to take in the beauty.

I love the silence, the peace, and believing deep down that whoever is buried there, is now resting in peace.

I read the tombstones, checking the dates to see how old or young the person was, I read to see what the family wrote about them and how they remember them.

I just feel at peace!

You see in a cemetery there is NO STRESS!

For some reason, stress has become a way of life.

A right of passage or even worse a requirement to belong.

We have stress clinics and anger management, therapists.

Disease is skyrocketing and when people ask sometimes the answer is, "Oh they were under tons of stress."

We have nervous breakdowns and anxiety attacks.

We pop pills; we drink too much, we even watch tv for hours just to calm our stress.

We buy fidget cubes and fidget spinners.

It is so bad that even 8-year-olds, who shouldn't have any stress in life are "stressed."

Their faces break out.

They act out in school.

They have no respect for others.

They watch their parents complain and stress so much that I think it's contagious, it is a way to connect!

Six years ago I was 30lb heavier because of stress.

I was not present because of stress.

I was unhappy because of stress.

That's when I decided to take action!

To do something different than what I was doing before. To get the help from people who could bring me to the next level.

Now some of you might say but Yigal, you are making money you wouldn't know what stress is.

Then explain to me why millionaires are stressed, why their kids are shooting up drugs and acting out.

Why dentists, doctors, and lawyers are at the top of the list for suicide.

It's not a matter of money but of mindset.

What if you could be honest about what you are going through?

What if you could be honest about who you are?

What if you could put your ego aside and ask for help?

What if you were able to look at other people less fortunate than you and realize that your "stress" doesn't even compare?

What if we were able to teach our kids that we can cope with life, that yes some stress is inevitable, but things will pass.

I know some people go through unfortunate situations and they have stress.

I also believe there are some of us that take on the stress as an identity.

We forget to be grateful for what we have!

We forget that we are alive!

We forget that we were able to have lunch today!

We forget to look forward and just get stuck in the past!

Today, I urge you to look at things differently!

To finally take action that will create change, to be happy.

To thank those people around you for the love they have shown you!

To be grateful that you have an opportunity to make tomorrow different!

Be Clear, Be Courageous, and Be Consistent, and you will see a difference!
