Rise courses don’t have to look “cookie-cutter.” Most people don’t realize how powerful Custom Blocks are in Articulate Rise. They let you build a library of your best layouts—then reuse them across courses so your work is: ✔️ consistent ✔️ scalable ✔️ faster to produce ✔️ easier to maintain I recorded a quick tutorial showing exactly how I use Custom Blocks in real builds: 🎥 https://lnkd.in/guX5rucm If you’re creating training under deadlines, this is a must-know.

Most accessibility work in Canvas doesn’t slow down because of lack of effort. It slows down because districts and institutions spend time remediating files students never actually see. In this short video, we show how to: • Focus accessibility efforts on active course content • Filter out unused files • Clean up clutter directly inside Canvas The result: more accurate accessibility scores, less manual work, and cleaner courses. #CanvasLMS

🎬 Behind the scenes of a LinkedIn Learning recording with Serpil Uensal, we are recording 3 new courses about Productmanagement and Productmarketing. 💡 Fun fact: the soundtrack was generated with Adobe Firefly’s new “Generate Soundtrack” feature. Wild what a simple prompt can do these days. Andreas Seibt, Bernhard Sommer #BehindTheScenes #LinkedInLearning #AICreativity

I have learned that while a PowerPoint presentation effectively supports visual learners, it does not fully cater for all learners on its own. Through practice and reflection, I intentionally combine visual materials with clear verbal explanations, discussions, and interactive activities to ensure auditory and kinesthetic learners are equally engaged. This approach helps me create an inclusive learning environment where every learner can access and participate meaningfully in the lesson.

One game changing development with Avenue is the Course Builder. It used to be that instructors would request a course by LINC level. They would receive the corresponding pre-filled course to edit and use with their learners. The Course Builder allows instructors to build their own courses from scratch. They explore eUnits selected by theme/ category and CLB level and add these to a cart and then submit a form to have the course assembled. The eUnits are up to date and full of useful, interesting material. If you are using Avenue and have not had the opportunity to look at the Course Builder, maybe because you were simply enrolled in a course already in use at your centre, please have a look. https://lnkd.in/gXcnpRHp https://lnkd.in/gmW6M7ic

One video. Multiple learning pathways. Students use video differently: some catch up after missing class, others revise for exams, and many need accessibility features or asynchronous options. The question isn't whether to create separate versions. It's whether your design serves everyone from the start. Shaun Searle from the University of Portsmouth explains how structure, signposting, and targeted content apply universal design principles to video learning, eliminating barriers instead of retrofitting solutions. When video is intentionally designed, it works for everyone. Hear Shaun's approach in our latest webinar: https://panop.to/3OgmYow #Webinar

Turn narration into a reusable asset — not a recurring production cost. Modern course platforms are built for change: update lessons, swap modules, refine messaging, and keep learning content current. That means your voice choice should be drop-in ready whenever revisions show up. Most #corporatetraining is forgettable. And it’s not your team’s fault. Studies show people forget over 50% of training content within days. The issue isn’t motivation or intelligence. It’s the format. Text-heavy slides and static decks weren’t designed for how the brain actually learns. Custom #whiteboard videos change that. By combining illustration, narration, and motion, Scribology helps teams stay engaged, understand faster, and retain what matters long after the training ends. If training needs to stick, it needs to be visual. Read how 👉 https://lnkd.in/gGZFGGmY

Careful with these as they don’t scale different screen sizes like the built-in blocks. You also have to consider that these are not keyboard accessible.
