If you are auditioning for a project and have dialogue with another character, PLEASE be sure to read the action lines in between the dialogue, read the other characters lines. READ IT ALL. Your acting choices are dictated by reading and re-reading the script multiple times and diving deep into the minutia.

And sometimes it doesn't hurt to speak the lines of the other characters out loud (obviously edit those out or don't record them). It tricks your brain into formulating a response based on the audio rather than the reading version of the words.
Stop waiting for “perfect” video.
For small local businesses, authentic, slightly messy videos usually outperform polished productions: and it’s not even close.
Why? Because people don’t buy from “perfect.” They buy from people they trust.
Here’s what raw video does better:
- Feels real (your customers can tell when it’s scripted)
- Builds connection fast (face + voice = instant credibility)
- Gets posted consistently (speed beats perfection every time)
- Costs basically $0 (your phone is the studio)
Try this today: open your camera and record a 20-second clip answering ONE customer question. Post it as-is.
If you want, tag me and I’ll give you a quick “keep / tweak” review.

Actor Thomas Anthony Jones knows a thing or two about conflict entrepreneurs.
During his time on Real Housewives of the Potomac, he found himself caught up in manufactured drama. He explained that producers often played the role of conflict entrepreneurs, intentionally stoking tension to keep the storylines hot 🔥
Instead of internalizing the anger coming his way, Thomas reframed the situation. In this clip from our webinar on how to deal with conflict entrepreneurs, he shares his personal technique for navigating these dynamics.
They’re applicable whether you’re clashing with coworkers, taking free throws in a hostile arena or appearing in a reality TV show.

"Why don't you scale? Why don't you hire people? Why don't you build a team?"
Michael Elkins gets asked this constantly about MLE Law.
His answer? No.
"I'm a one-man band. And I'm completely comfortable with that."
When he started his firm, Michael made himself a promise:
Stop chasing what other firms are doing. Stop comparing. Stop looking at the "shiny toys" across the room. Instead, he defined success on HIS terms:
→ Working with clients he actually likes
→ Taking on complex, interesting cases
→ Having time to travel and spend time with his dog
Does he sometimes look at other firms and feel the pull to "do more"?
Of course.
But then he reminds himself: "I need to do well within MY parameters. I'm not trying to be something else."
Michael's philosophy: "I'm not chasing what other people are doing. I'm chasing the things that matter to me."
The world will tell you that success = more revenue, more employees, more growth.
But success is whatever YOU define it as.

Funding a $20 million film solo seems impossible for most.
But what if the goal isn't a blockbuster right away? Starting with a $20,000 project puts ownership and learning in your hands. Writers and musicians create with minimal resources.
Consider the power of starting small, building skills, and retaining creative control. What micro-budget project could launch your bigger vision? #Filmmaking#IndieFilm#CreativeProcess#Entrepreneurship
