I was asked by the Department of Humanities at Texas A&M International University to record a short video introducing the course ENGL 2311 Technical Communication so they could show it to students in the course at the beginning of the semester. While it highlights this course, the message is universal: engineers succeed not just by solving problems, but by making their solutions understood. Problems solved ≠ impact made; communication closes the gap. Some colleagues and friends encouraged me to share it with a wider audience.
Well done Prof. Mahmoud Khasawneh. I am reposting this to make sure my students see why I press them in the issue of communication, I mean technical communication 🫡
Engineering Management 101! I hope students understand how important it is. They are lucky to have you at TAMIU. Take care, my friend.

7moWow. Dr. Khasawneh is an excellent narrator besides being an excellent professor at TAMIU. It's interesting how he put some of his Packers stuff in the background. Thank you for remembering about your previous students with that Aaron Rodgers picture Dr. Khasawneh.
