Connectivity changes communities Infrastructure carries growth Last week, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury broke ground on Phase 2 of the Ham Reid Road Extension Project— continuing a corridor designed to improve: ‣ connectivity ‣ traffic flow ‣ safety ‣ long-term growth in South Lake Charles Phase 1 introduced one of the area’s earliest roadway applications of Low-Impact Development (LID) infrastructure— integrating: ‣ walkability ‣ landscaped drainage systems ‣ multiuse pathways ‣ sustainable stormwater design Now, that vision continues westward toward Big Lake Road and Graywood Parkway. We’re grateful to the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury for their trust and continued partnership throughout this transformational effort. This clip features Fenstermaker engineers Heather Gardner LeJeune, E.I. and Austin Doucet, P.E. reflecting onsite during Phase 1 construction about the pride, complexity, and care involved in bringing infrastructure like this to life. As Southwest Louisiana continues to grow, our Lake Charles engineering team stands ready to support the infrastructure shaping what comes next. Because meaningful projects like this begin long before the ceremonial shovel hits the dirt. They begin: in the field, through coordination, and through the responsibility to build systems that communities can rely on for decades to come. . . . #infrastructure #roadwaydesign #transportation #construction #civilengineering

Northwest Wisconsin is seeing extensive highway construction projects across multiple counties, focusing on road improvements, bridge replacements, and safety upgrades. Major projects include bridge deck replacements on US 53 in Barron County, culvert and pavement work on WIS 13 in Sawyer County, and concrete pavement replacement on WIS 35 in Burnett County. - US 63 in Cumberland is closed for a major bridge replacement and road reconstruction. - WIS 46 and US 8 in Polk County are undergoing pavement recycling, milling, and shoulder widening. - County D in Sawyer County is closed for bridge deck replacement with detours in place. These projects highlight ongoing investments in infrastructure to improve safety and traffic flow in Northwest Wisconsin. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eGQtrDHx #PRESWERX #WisconsinConstruction

A great example of pavement stabilisation in action 🎬 We're helping to improve existing road infrastructure through smarter, more sustainable construction methods in collaboration with Hawthorne Infrastructure . This project showcases the value of reusing in-situ materials to deliver efficient rehabilitation outcomes while reducing waste, haulage, and disruption to road users. 🚧 Why we’re big fans of pavement stabilisation: ✅ Maximises reuse of existing materials ✅ Faster construction and reduced disruption ✅ Lower environmental impact ✅ Extends pavement life and performance It’s always rewarding seeing good engineering and strong collaboration come together on site. Looking forward to being part of more projects like this across the region. 🤝 #PavementEngineering #RoadRehabilitation #CivilEngineering #SustainableInfrastructure #EngineeringSolutions #Engenera #SunshineCoast Brendan Bennett

Proud to announce the completion of a 146,000+ SF Extra Space Storage facility in Elmhurst, Queens — one of the areas most demanding and densely built environments. This six-story, steel-framed project delivers 2,296 climate-controlled units across four floors above grade and two below, with elevator access, rooftop solar panels, substantial parking and loading, and full site security and access control. Building at this scale in an urban setting requires precise coordination, experienced subcontractors, and a team that doesn't back down from complexity. Our team delivered on all counts. https://lnkd.in/eq6_Q7Ei #SelfStorage #ExtraSpaceStorage #ConstructionManagement #ParkEastConstruction #GeneralContractor

🏆National Recognition for Engineering Excellence — and an Iconic Bridge We’re proud to celebrate Placer County’s Foresthill Bridge and the leadership behind it as the Foresthill Bridge T-1 Steel Inspection and Repair Project earns a National Recognition Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) prestigious Engineering Excellence Awards program — one of the engineering profession’s highest distinctions. As California’s tallest bridge, Foresthill Bridge is more than a landmark — it’s a lifeline for the region and a responsibility that Placer County embraces with vision, diligence and an unwavering commitment to public safety. Their proactive approach to infrastructure stewardship continues to set a national standard. In partnership with Placer County, Atlas’ A-team took on one of the most technically demanding bridge inspection and repair efforts in the country — performing advanced testing and targeted repairs more than 700 feet above the American River, all while keeping traffic moving and protecting the public and project teams every step of the way. The impact speaks for itself: safer travel for the community, zero safety incidents and a project helping inform national guidance for evaluating legacy steel bridges. We’re honored to be recognized alongside Placer County through this national award — and to support work that strengthens critical infrastructure and the communities it serves.
